Sara doesn't divert the funds

With the weight of the day's turmoil pressing heavily upon her, Sara made the decision not to divert the funds. She hastily scribbled notes on the ledger, packed her things, and left the council room, seeking the comfort of home and James.

However, Onosk wasn't done with her. The demon, ever hungry, insatiable, and now frustrated, had only begun to tap into Sara's vulnerabilities. The evening held more temptations more torments, and Onosk relished in every moment of it.

Arriving at her shared apartment with James, Sara hoped for solace, a respite from the day's ordeals. But even here, Onosk's shadow loomed large. As she entered, she found James sitting on the couch, deeply engrossed in a conversation with Erin. They were laughing, sharing a moment that seemed too intimate, too close.

Onosk's whisper was a cruel hiss, "James has always been attracted to her. Look at them, so cozy. Does he really only have eyes for you?"

What was the little bitch doing here with James? Sara thought.

Tears welled in Sara's eyes, but she pushed them back. "Hey," she greeted, trying to keep her voice steady. James looked up, a flash of guilt—or was it surprise?—crossing his face. Perhaps Erin quickly excused herself, perhaps sensing the tension, leaving in a hurry and looking embarrassed.

James got up and approached Sara, wrapping his arms around her. "How was your day?" he asked.

Feeling the warmth of James' embrace, Sara tried to push the demon's voice away. "Tiring," she replied, her voice faint.

But Onosk wasn't one to let go easily. "Ask him about Erin," she cooed, her voice dripping with malice. "Ask him if he fucked her."

Sara took a deep breath, pulling away slightly. "Why was Erin here?" she asked, unable to keep the suspicion from her voice.

James hesitated, then replied, "She needed help with an assignment. I was just helping out. It's nothing."

Onosk's voice echoed in Sara's mind, "Lies. All lies. Can you trust him? Make him jealous; show him what he could lose."

The evening continued in this strained manner. A silent dinner followed by more conspicuous silence as Sara fumed.

As they settled into bed, Sara couldn't shake off the overwhelming fear and doubt while they both lay naked. Onosk's influence was potent, urging Sara to give in to temptation, to act selfishly, even cruelly. James drifted off to sleep, while Sara lay awake in the dark.

She recalled an old friend, Alex, who had always been fond of her and wanted more. A plan began to form in her mind, fueled by Onosk's dark desires. She could reach out to Alex and indulge in a harmless flirtation. It would serve James right for getting close to Erin.

The day's pent up sexual frustration returned suddenly, her anger forgotten for the moment, Sara considered her options from inside a fog of lust and anger.
