Unable to fathom the bizarre scene before her Sarah spun on the spot and ran at full pelt back towards the safety of Libby's former home. Once safely inside with the door locked behind her, Sarah broke down, streams of tears ran down her cheeks as she replayed the scene in her head. After a self-pitying few minutes, she managed to pull herself together and slowly stood back up.

Sarah's mind raced with terrified thoughts as she wondered how the usual demure Steve had become a vampiric creature and whether it was too late to save Libby from a similar fate. As she wandered back into the lounge, Sarah's thoughts were interrupted by a light knocking on the window. She felt her pace quicken as she wandered over to the window and slowly eased the curtains open.
