Robbi Jade Lew

Robbi Jade Lew (born 1984) is a professional poker player originally from Saudi Arabia. She immigrated to Berkeley when she was 5 years old and later moved to Orinda, a nearby East Bay city. She attended UC Santa Barbara, double-majoring in law and society and philosophy, and married Charles Lew around 2012. She has a lot of interest in fashion and fine jewelry, and deliberately presents a fake Hollywood appearance.

Prior to poker, Lew worked as a biopharmaceuticals account manager from Pacific Palisades. She started poker with a "Poker for Dummies" book before learning basics from her husband, and later hired two major poker coaches before participating in World Series of Poker and smaller tournaments and cash games.

Lew came into public prominence from cheating accusations made against her after winning with a bad hand on Hustler Casino Live, a popular YouTube poker show that streams live from Gardena casino five nights a week. The stream broadcasts with a delay to prevent cheating. Conspiracy theories have involved her $120,000 ruby ring vibrating or concealing a tiny camera, Lew hiding a device in her leggings, and her chair having a vibration mechanism, among others. During the investigation into these allegations, investigators discovered that an employee of the casino had stolen $15,000 in chips from Lew, leading to more conspiracy theories about the employee helping Lew to cheat and of Lew having an affair with the employee for his assistance.
