Ralli finishes her shower and heads to class.

Ralli finished the shower. She toweled off and dressed into clean clothes. She stopped by her room and grabbed her armor. The whole time, the question of that collar lingered in her mind. She wished she would run into Bella so she could ask her about it, but... "No, that is selfish. I cannot rely on her to solve all of my problems. She has her own class to prepare for. I need to handle my own issue."

Finally, the instructor found herself in front of her classroom again...

Liam was standing there, leaning against the wall with a big smile as if he'd been waiting for her. "Morning, Teach! How are you feeling?"

"Crappy..." Ralli grumbled, placing her hand on her helmet. Liam's voice seemed to bang around inside it like a second visit from the vision she'd had last night.

"Sorry to hear that... Oh! Teach! You wore my victor's mark after all, didn't you?" the young man grinned with his voice, walking close to her and inspecting it. Boldly close, Ralli thought. She raised her arm to smack him out of habit- "Ah ah! It's a little early in the morning for ****, isn't it?"

"... Yes," Ralli agreed... changing her mind and lowering her arm.

The two stood facing each other in the hallway. When it was beginning to seem Liam would remain there, smugly smiling at her until she finally entered without him, he finally spoke. "Aren't you going to get the door for me, Teach?"

"... Sure," she spoke in a gruff, terse voice as she opened the door and held it open for him. "... Hm. I suppose I ought to be polite. He did waste his wish yesterday, after all. He is probably full of regret."

"Thank you kindly," he said, strolling in past her. "Oh, hey, Teach. Since you got closer to everyone with your new strategy... maybe you ought to lose the helmet today? I think it's finally time."

"Get your ass in there, Baldwin," Ralli growled, taking off her helmet and holding it under her arm. "Now."

Liam and Ralli finally entered, to a chorus of gasps from the other students. Liam hurried up to his seat. The sergeant would note he was making an effort to seem shocked, as well. "What are you playing at, Baldwin?" she spoke over the murmurs of her class. "This is the pitiful thing you gave me yesterday, is it not?" Nobody answered her question. As she set her helmet on the podium, it finally hit her. "Oh... My helmet. I have never taken it off in class. You trainees have never seen my face."

Everyone slowly nodded, trying to sort out their thoughts as they realized their teacher was, at least subjectively, an attractive woman, that she was blinded from a scar, and that she was wearing the frilly pink choker Liam had been bragging about to the guys (but only the ones he trusted) yesterday. Harley had seen her face, of course, but looked as stunned as the rest of them by Ralli's sudden and unannounced decision to publicly reveal it.

Only one man fully understood the situation, and Ralli saw who it was: the expression of shock he had been wearing a moment ago was for the class's benefit, not hers. Now that everyone's attention was on her, he'd let a triumphant grin spread, resting his cheek lazily on one fist. "Hey, Teach! I'm gonna ask the question on all of our minds..."
