Hunting
To secure Meat send your ranged combat unit out Hunting ☑
Gathering
To secure Vegetables send your 'Peasants' unit out Gathering ☑
Cooking
To Cook the Meat and Vegetables they bring back, making them more Nutritious and Tasty thus Reducing HUNGER better...
Gather a few units of Wood ☑ and Rocks ☑ for a Fire and Construction tasks ☑
Gather Roasting Herbs to give the Meat and Vegetables some Seasoning ☑
Build a Crude Fire Pit and Rough Cooking Station ☑
Put the Meat and Vegetables on the Rough Cooking Station ☑
And give the Meat and Vegetables some Seasoning with the Roasting Herbs ☑
Make a Crude Roasting Spit over the Fire Pit with the Wood ☑

Set a member of your unit of 'Peasants' to Roast the Meat and Vegetables ☑
When it is done have both of your units available so you all can Eat while it is Fresh ☑
Drink
There are 3 main ways to secure Drink for your TL and Region, a Spring or River, a Well, or Fruit Juices.
Your area has 3 Springs which feed 3 Small Streams and a Large Brook:
Explore a bit ☑
and Discover one of them to secure Flowing Water to Drink ☑
(But beware of the Wolves and Boars which might attack you, especially near the Springs.)
OR:
Your region has Damp Soil which holds Water to convert this into Clean Water for Drinking:
Have your 'Peasants' dig a Crude Well ☑
Gather a few units of Rocks to line the Crude Well ☐
Use the Rocks to turn it into a Rough Well ☐
Gather a few units of Wood for the next Construction tasks ☑
Make a Rope from Leather, Fibers, or Plastic (TL too Low.)
Make a Bucket from your Wood ☐
Make a Pulley from your Wood ☐
Build a Crude Rope and Pulley with Bucket over your Rough Well ☐
You now have Clean Water, at least for now.
(But beware of positioning your Latrines or Graveyard where they can contaminate the water table for your Well, this will lead to you and your troops contracting Dysentery. Beware also that Wells can run dry and Rough Wells must be refinished once a year.)
OR:
You can gather Fruit to make Fruit Juice.
Your area has 10 Berry Patches and 5 Fruit Tree Groves.
Explore a bit ☑
and Discover one of them to secure Fruit ☑
Gather a few units of Wood for the next Construction tasks ☑
Make a Bucket from your Wood ☐
Make a Small Rough Juice Press from your Wood ☐
Set one of your 'Peasants' to press out the Fruit Juice from the Fruit ☐
Collect the Fruit Juice in the Bucket ☐
You now have Fruit Juice to share!
(But beware: this is a temporary solution because there is not enough Fruit in your region to supply you with Fruit Juice for more than a few days and as always 'Winter is Coming' when there will be NO Fruit that you can press for Fruit Juice. Beware as well that Fruit Juice spoils quickly turning into Wine and then Vinegar. Beware also that both Boars and Bears frequent Berry Patches and Fruit Tree Groves, which might attack you or your Gatherers.)
