Just some excavation, rock gathering, and fire pit building...

When you get back to the base you find your other unit has everything ready to cook dinner, having dug a pit into the sandy loam soil to the north of the area in front of the barn to gather rocks, and put the fire pit area about 40' directly in front of the barn doors wide swath of the grassy sod removed and trampled into packed earth, at the center of which is the fire pit, already all set up and just waiting for you before they light the thing... At first they are ecstatic to see you, then gasp in dismay at the sight of the disemboweled corpse you all carry with you.

"What Happened?!?" Crystal asks, and you look at her gravely.

"Ladies, we have had our first Fatality." You explain, and then regal them with the tale of encountering the boar, warn them about the goblins, and order three them to start digging a 4' x 6' x 6' hole into the earth due south of the barn by 100 paces (The side with the cow byre.), while the other two start the fire and cook dinner.

Meanwhile you undress Keishara and salvage what of her gear you can. She's dead, she needs no armor or weapons sent on to her next life: at least if yours is any yardstick to judge by she can select them for herself! You end up with 5 'Stone Arrows', a 'Yew Longbow', a 'small sheet of leather', and a 'Leather Strap', the rest is 'ruined' and unusable.

About an hour later you send a runner to call back the three taking shifts at grave digging, and eat dinner, Keishara's body laid out over by the grave site now, awaiting her funeral in the tatters of her jerkin, and nothing else. The food is good, strangely more so because of the blood of your fallen comrade still on your hands, and though the mood is subdued you all eat lustily.

Suddenly as the last of your finishes eating, there is a little * Ding! * in the back of your head and you pull up, the 'Tutorial Instructions!' with a Thought.
