Promotion

"You will take Joe's job as manager," Mr. Newman says holstering his gun in his jacket. "I'll let HR know."

"That's it?" You ask.

"Yes. We have lost a lot of key people to the restructuring. Many who couldn't see the vision that Mr. Smith has for this company have been demoted. You on the other hand have survived and that should be rewarded."

Mr. Newman quickly applauds you.

"What's going on exactly?" You ask.

"Quite simply Mr. Smith has found the company to be underperforming. The first phase is to turn all the workers in the building into slaves controlled by us. Efficient, dependable, and sexy as fuck."

"Okay that makes sense, I guess. But how?"

Mr. Newman points to his concealed gun, "Don't know, but there are a lot of devices that do it. You've seen what the pink forms can do to a person, just ask Jennifer. We can get you something from HR to help with your new department."

You nod and follow Mr. Newman to HR. Inside the office is a table full of different gadgets. Each one attached to an operators manual. There is even a pamphlet that reads "So you company is turning its employees into slutty office ladies" on the cover.
