Facing the King

“Who’s this you’ve brought!” The king asks, as he eyes you. This makes her nervous.

“Can we discuss it in private father! I have much to say that’s not for all ears!” Gao says, blushing. The king is somewhat confused, but commands everyone to leave. The room is specially made, so no one can hear from outside, so there’s no chance of being overheard. Once everyone exists the room, the king turns back to his daughter.

“So what is it? Who is this man?” The king asks again, making her blush.

“This is the man who saved my life! He’s resolved my problem, at least for now!” Gao says.

“Is this true! That’s incredible! I’m so happy for you! But wait!? Why does that need to be secret?” He says, starting to fear the coming response.

Once the king recovers from his shock, his anger has greatly diminished.

“What’s your name?” He asks, curiously.

“I’m Ichicka Yang! I’m the patriarch of the Seductive Lotus sect!” You say. Although the Seductive Lotus sect hasn’t been well known for a long time, the king is well aware of it, baffling him even more, how a genius like you ended up in such a place.

It doesn’t surprise you he has other grandchildren, as Gao is one of his youngest daughters.” In any case, you two may head to your room for the night. I’ll gather the rest of the family for dinner.” He says. Gao then excitedly drags you out, causing Kua to feel mixed emotions at the display.
