The Deal

On the highest floor of the tallest skyscraper of S-City. In the VIP lounge where only the wealthiest could afford to dine, two men sat across from another.

The two men glared at each other with dark expressions. The manager of the place began to sweat as he felt suffocated by the silence.

"So has your son agreed, Viscardi?"

An old man asked with a hoarse voice. He was in his mid-sixties but still displayed vigor and youth in his muscles that could not be looked down on.

"Yes, he has, the arrangement has been set. Just make sure to keep your end of the bargain when you lose. Otherwise, I won't be afraid to take action."

"Pah, do you really think your son can defeat them? Jayden and Jordan have been learning Suzuki's martial art style directly under me. Their coordination in a fight has reached unbelievable heights. Your son won't have any face left after the match. He should be glad this will save him from becoming the twin's toy. They can be quite vicious when given the opportunity. The Suzuki's head sighed in sadness. Those leeches might be strong, but they were also greedy to the bone.

The Suzuki's head slammed his fist on the table, causing the expensive wine bottles on it to fall over.

"Such an outdated and disgusting tradition. This is why your old family should get out. S City has no need for such outdated ways. Throwing a kid alone into that forest for seven days? Ludicrous."

Viscardi Woods grins to himself as he leaves, leaving the fuming Suzuki head to himself. Leaving the building, he is met with a man in his 30s with similar traits to himself.

"How did the meeting go, father?"

"It went as well as it could have gone. The match will decide who will remain in this City."

"How could you risk so much on such a fight. Can he really win? I have heard a lot about those twins. Also, What if he betrays us? I don't trust him."

"Don't underestimate your younger brother. He isn't a pushover. Neither you nor your sister had any talent in martial arts, so I let you do as you pleased... but Val.
