Join the book club

Alright fuck it i said to myself before saying to the girls "Yeah i'm in... just don't expect much from me" - they all cheered and celebrated like i made their day, which was pretty nice to know that i made some cute girls laugh and they were happy because i hanged out with them.

They all went for a hug that caught me off guard, the only one that i was able to feel was Scarlet - she went first for the hug and i had my arms wrapped around her, i wanted to hug her but all of the other girls joined and they completely covered me with their bodies, it felt nice but a bit akward because Scarlet and i were being almost crush by the girls - i looked at her face and she was blushing which made me smile but after a while of that group hug we all got back to normal.

Daisy thanked me for joining the club, Ellie and May said something about what types of books i read for later when we go to the library after school but i focused on Scarlet because she stood in front of me, she didn't say a word and she was looking down akwardly - May noticed this and said to her with her joking voice "Don't be shy Scarlet... i know you like him but don't get like that" - she said to her quietly but loud enough for all of us to hear, she definitely did it on purpose and she was messing with Scarlet.

I wasn't sure if May said that just because she was joking around or there was something else going on - after she said that Scarlet seemes upset and looked at May with an angry expression, like she just told her deepest secret. She was blushing that entire time and she glanced at me for half a second, when she did i also blushed a little but i didn't want to think much about it They are probably playing right? There's no way she woyld be interested in me... right? I asked myself and then continued saying

"Alright girls, nice to see you but i have to return to my stand and help the gaming club... see you later" they all waved at me as i was walking back to my stand - as i did Daisy said "Remember that we are going to the library after school" and then May continued "See you later, thank you so much again" i smiled at them and i turned to face my friends in the gaming club.

We finished that class which was suppose to be a guidance class or something like that with Miss Alyssa and all of the clubs completed their lists - they wrote the schedule for the clubs in a whieboard they brought from class and the counted the amount of students in each club. The gaming club ended up having 11 members and the book club only 5 but that could change in the future.

We returned to the classroom and i saw the cute girls giggling and being really excited for their new club, i was happy for them but i couldn't wait for gaming club. After i talked with Caleb and Quincy about the club the bell rang and we went to recess.
