Chapter 11 by MidbossMan MidbossMan

How will you instruct Keiko to defeat this first attack?

She should blast the drones out of the sky! (20 Power)

You assured Keiko she had the right weapon for the job! The remote sword blades could take out every flying drone approaching, she just needed to draw out every bit of its power to do so!

"You're right, Katappashikara-dono! I don't know if I can get them all, but I can definitely destroy the ones above me!" Keiko agreed, swinging her sword in a wide arc above her head. At her behest, the blade came apart, turning into sharp, individual panels that swerved through the air, darting from drone to done. Rather than strike the seeds, they went for the sprouts up top, which acted as helicopter blades for these drones. The fruits of her efforts became apparent immediately, as giant BUNGEN containers began to rain down around her, failing to meet their destination. A few of the drones blinked their cameras, then released their own loads... Those loads went off with terrifying- albeit miniature- explosives. Bungen knew he couldn't risk harming a hair on the head of the audience, so the explosions could only be so big, after all.

The man showed obvious dissatisfaction, his eyebrows tilting up further. "Mister Katappashikara, such a defense is tiring for your priestess. I've barely used a drop of my own god power, and here you are, pouring yourself fully into that sword of hers. You're like... a lemonade stand competing against my massive corporation. One weapon against infinite. Are you even going to use your planet's resources against me?" he inquired, sounding insulted.

Still... his protests aside, the defense seemed to be working. The bombs were rendered relatively ineffective by this strategy. Of course... Shiryoku had ordered more than just bombs. Calmly, she stepped to one side where a large metal crate had fallen, then pressed a few buttons on the container in sequence. The crate opened up to reveal an unsettling wooden structure, which embedded roots into the ground and pointed an extending, gnarled tree branch towards your priestess... from its tip, the bud of a flower extended, then opened to reveal a sort of spout... The tree turned, following Keiko's movements...

That's it! The automatic turrets that Shiryoku had ordered! The bombs had been bad enough, but these things would operate without the enemy lifting a finger!

"Are you going to make any orders? You can't win on your lonesome," Shiryoku advised Keiko, calmly adjusting her glasses, while returning to her original spot in a slow stroll.

((Power +2))

((Faith +1))

How should Keiko handle the turrets?
