That girl had brought a high-powered version of a hunting rifle... what else could that thing be but a grenade?! Fighting against rifles is one thing, but no amount of footwork is going to help against something like that, especially not if that bastard Don uses the power of creating opportunities to let her throw a bunch in a row without having to aim! You conveyed these thoughts to Keiko as desperately as you could manage.

Keiko's eyes lit up with brief alarm, but then, she nodded. "Understood. With your weapon, getting around this attack is no particular issue," the priestess responded, looking calm. As the count reached zero, she turned, not preparing a shield or a lunge forward, but instead, holding her sword in two hands like a baseball bat...

On the other side, Buchikowasu had clearly changed plans as well. Rather than use her hunting rifle, she slung one arm, tossing not one... but countless of those tiny balls! Those smirking eyes of hers, as well as the way Don had shifted his eyes to watch your reaction, told you that Buchikawasu thought she'd just thrown out her trump card- her winning move.

Abort, Keiko! Abort! You telepathically transmitted those commands as desperately as you could manage.

"I thank you for your concern, Katappashikara-dono, but we must have faith in one another." Your priestess disobeyed your instructions, making a batter's stance, as though she planned to hit a small clump of them away. As far as baseball went, she'd make for a pretty {if Keiko's Tier = 3}funny-dressed {endif}{if Keiko's Tier = 2}unusual, fundoshi-wearing {endif}{if Keiko's Tier = 1}scandalously nude {endif} batter.

But whatever, this is useless, right?! There's way too many to put up pinpoint barriers and stop them all, and way, way too many to hit them like a batter! Plus, if they hit and don't reflect all the way, they could still hit Keiko's feet, which could still end up devastating!
