A/N greetings! normally I don't do ANs because it detracts from the immersion but I felt like I should do one here. I'll remove this if you all feel like it's too annoying. First thing's first, normally I write as part of a two person team. My second decided to basically bow out of this side project so . . . quality is gonna tank a bit at times. secondly, there will be sex . . . but perhaps not the like . . . six? back to back sex chapters that zen put out in his RWBY story. in short, expect delays between the "hot action" while we get story things done. with that said, comment suggestions you want the character to do (I'll even take erotic ones if you have any good ideas) because this puppy isn't very planned. if anything about my history is found wanting . . . correct me with **** prejudice . . . history is my thing. You choose to remake the Empire from the ashes of the old. Starting after the empire has fallen leaves you with plenty of flexibility, and a ready source of people needing a saviour. Knowing that you are going to be doing a lot of fighting, you decide to give yourself some pieces of magical equipment.

For armour, you decide on a Greek hoplite style of armour, a breastplate that covers your torso in gleaming bronze metal. Of course, you add a magical upgrade to make it indestructible, and impervious to damage. Pauldrons cover your shoulders and upper torso, while a cape is fastened around your chest. Vambraces give your wrists some protection. For your legs, the tunic underneath your breastplate includes a skirt of leather strips, while your shins up to the knees are encased in bronze greaves. Your boots on the other hand were just the standard Roman Caligae, though you did marvel at how comfortable they are.

For a weapon, you decide to continue the Greek theme you have going and give yourself a Greek Xiphos, a leaf bladed weapon about 60 centimeters (2 feet) long. Naturally, the weapon was unbreakable and honed to a monomolecular edge so that it would cut through basically anything, including modern steel.

With your equipment sorted, your chosen time frame decided, you’re ready for your quest. You close your eyes and open them to the golden skies of an Italian sunset.
