Mara answers some questions

"Mara!" You call chasing after the woman; as she leaves the gathering, with her sister in tow.

Mara stops, looking at you; she does not seem too happy with you. She looks to her sister who looks back before Mira nods to her, then continues onward towards their home. Following quickly behind you are Haruka and Eve.

"Yes, muje pitar?" She says to you, smiling.

"I don't understand you," you tell her.

"Uh..." you point to yourself, then to your ear.

Mara looks at you confused. You then point to your head and then to your mouth. Trying to tell her that you want to learn her language; or to find someway to communicate with her.

"Ayan," she says.

You have no idea how to respond, "Uh, Eve," turning towards the android.

"You know many languages, right?" You ask she might be able to help; now that she is here.

"Yes, Master, I understand about 4,500 Earth languages," Eve says back at you.

"Can you try to translate what she is saying?" You implore her; you can pick up on some of it but not all of it; in fact, it seems you can only understand half of what is said.

"I can try," she says.

"What did you accept?" You say, looking at Mara.

"Paish, hain to musa ver muje; du are muskil, dul win," she answers.

"Paish? Want to fight," she stops for a second. "Challenge for me; you are strong, you will win?" Eve tells you, "it seems to be a mixture of many common Earth languages."

"Great, so you can translate," you smile at least something is going your way today.

"What do you mean, fight for you?" You say, worried as to what that must mean, Eve quickly repeats what you said in the best she can.

"Paish und du musa, ens win, ens sie; iv Paish win, pita bulu muje." She says to you, trying to **** you to understand.

"Paish and you," she stops for a second, "duel, one win, one dies; if Paish win, he..." She pauses again, "mate me?"

It hits you; she agreed to a duel to the **** for you, for her. Why? What does she hope to gain?

"You and your sister kept mentioning bulu before, what does that mean?" You ask remembering that time in their bedroom. Eve tries to answer back as best she can, but she simply doesn't know the language well enough, so she has to rely on English words for half of it.

"Bulu, is yiqi; nuri muke pita's nurn," she says, confused.

"Mate, is together," Eve says, "girl, wooden shell?" She says confused, "man's woman."

"Maybe it means marriage?" Eve says.

What I'm married to these two women, I just met them yesterday. What is going on? Everything seems to be happening too fast. But at least with Eve here you can begin to understand what is being said to you. You walk over to a nearby hut, leaning on its foundation; trying to catch your balance.

"So you and your sister are married to me?" You ask her; Eve once again translating.

"Yes," she says; blushing slightly, yet trying to remain composed.

"Aaron, what is going on?" Haruka asks, completely confused.

"How long till... musa?" You ask.

"Ens jaro," she says

"A year?" Eve says, "must be ten days if ten days is a year here..."
