Oh God! Not Britney Again!

Spencer pulled up by Carter JHS, ready to pick up Amy. As he waited, he failed to see Britney approach his car with an ear to ear smile.

"Hey Spencer." She said, causing Spencer to jolt.

"Oh, hey Britney."

"Have a good weekend?"

"Uhh, yeah." Spencer's face fell into a befuddled expression.

"So how are you and Miss Lynn going?"

"Excuse me?"

"I saw you two at Thuong Thien last night."

"Oh, well you know, it was just a friendly dinner."

"Suuuure Spencer."

Spencer wanted to retort about her lack of romantic dates or arousing sex, but he bit his tongue. After all, drama was the only interesting thing in Britney's life and she fed off of it.

In his silence, Britney said "Ohh, looks like someone is taken."

That's when Spencer heard the backdoor open. He turned to see Amy get inside the car. With a smile, he turned back to Britney and said "Well, I better get going."

"Of course. See you Spencer."

With haste, Spencer got onto the road. As he did so, he cut off Darcie, who honked her horn.

"You okay Dad?"

"Yeah." Spencer sighed.

"What did Mrs. Becker want?"

"Ugh... still wants me to do the canteen."

"Guess she hasn't seen you cook."

Spencer let out a slight chuckle, which cut through some of the frustration he had.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Are you and Miss Lynn dating?"

"Sweetie... that's just nonsense. She took me out for dinner as a treat for helping with the Prom."

"Only you?"

"Well, I helped stay and pack up."

"Ah... okay."

Spencer wasn't quite sure she believed him, but there wasn't much he can do. He knew all too well how fast rumors would spread.

In bed, Spencer went to text Cindy, only to find out she'd sent him one.

'turns out we're the talk of the town Stud :)'

'Yeah, Britney saw us'

'Ohh... yay -_-'

'Yep. She's probably jealous'

'Just imagine how jealous she would've been if she'd seen you in action last night ;)'

'LOL'

'Anyway if you want to keep things on the down low I know how to do so.'

'Think its a bit late for that'

'Guess so'

'at least it gives us an excuse to hang out more :P'

'hmmm you know I haven't dated a guy in years. Maybe its time to start again?'

'I fucked you that good huh?'

'lol ur such a romantic'

'I just think transparency is a good part of relationships'
