Jasmine and Amber's party

On Friday, Spencer entered Jasmine's house. As he scanned the room for familiar faces, Jasmine had her hands wrapped around him and squeezed him tighter than Spencer could ever expect.

"Spencer. So glad you could make it."

"Uhh, I said I would."

"Well, come on in. We've got drinks in coolers on the kitchen counter, and snacks and cakes on the table. Take what you want."

"Thanks."

Spencer's first move was to go for the food, hoping Jasmine had cooked some more food up. Much to his delight, he managed to get the last of Jasmine's mouth watering brownies. As he ate, he was met by Danielle, the customer manager of the local bank.

"Hey Spencer."

"Dani."

"Great food."

"Yeah, Jazzy's hell of a cook."

"Sure is. She gave you hell of a hug."

"Well, we went to high school together."

"Really? Jeez, it's a small world."

"Sure is."

The two exchanged small talk for a bit before Danielle moved on. Now free, Spencer went to grab a beer, before scanning the room, noticing Amber standing in a corner, looking rather lonely. As much as he wanted to continue to catch up with Jasmine, he wondered if he should give Amber someone to talk to, and maybe get to know her better?
