You’d be lying if you said you had any idea of anything’s value, plus he did heal you, well sorta, you at least seem healed anyway, so you just smile and say, “Sounds fine.”

He laughs, “Don’t worry, keep doing jobs for the guild and you will do fine.” He shuffles through some papers. “Here this one is perfect for ya.” He says handing you a hand drawn sketch of a burly looking dude in a high collared jacket. It shows him from mid chest up and he seems to have some hatted weapon, like an axe, in his hand. “He lives 30 miles south of here in Trenton, works for the smith there. He goes by Ramrod, not exactly sure how he got the name, anyway he owes the guild 100 silver in back dues. All we need from you is to go, talk to him, and either collect the silver or inform him that his membership is terminated.”

“So by terminated you want me to...”. You say tentatively.

“No, no, nothing like that, remember, we are the good guys. Just let him know he is to far passed due, either pay or he won’t get any of the benefits of membership, you know, access to spells, merchandise, that stuff.” He laughs, “Like I’d send someone as green as you to kill a member. Now that’s funny. Now as a member feel free to stock up on provisions before you go. Oh, and good luck.” He shakes your hand, “Now, I am going to bed upstairs, if you want to do the same just pick any open room, they are the ones with a key in the lock. I am in room 1 if you need me.” With that he points at a door and adds, “Mess hall and provisions in there are all paid for with your dues, take whatever you need.” With that he heads up a staircase you are pretty sure you couldn’t see earlier. For that matter all the doors seem like just walls till he pointed them out.

Left to your own, you do your best to rustle up what eventually looks, and tastes a lot like tacos, and pretty damned good. That and a jug of beer hit the spot nicely, sadly that one jug gets you quite drunk and you end up stumbling up the stairs and fall asleep in an unlocked room 5.
