Belinda's room is ransacked.

The two entered the room, and Linny the thief gasped. The room had been ransacked at least twice already, but there was still a staggering amount of wealth still on display.

Multiple paintings adorned the wall (although a few looked suspect, the result of a copy being replaced with an inferior copy one too many times).

A massive mirror dominated one corner of the room, the solid gold and jewel encrusted frame having been pried-off, replaced by a few simple wooden beams painted yellow with splotches of red, green and blue. The mirror itself, which was worth something, was still there.

The queen's massive, solid gold wardrobe was still intact, although all the jewels had been removed from it and replaced with painted rocks.

Belinda's bed, once a sickening display of wealth, had been hit hard too. The intricately carved, gilded, and bejeweled bed frame had been disassembled, piece by piece and replaced with painted particle board. The ivory bed posts had been taken and replaced with soap carvings. The sheets, once made of the rarest and softest spider silk, had been yanked away, leaving the mattress bare with a stack of old linens from the servants' quarters sitting in a pile on top of it (they were too small for Belinda's bed, so the thief hadn't bothered to put them on it). The pillows, some of the softest in the land, had been replaced with flour sacks from the kitchen.

"Why don't you have a seat while I go through everything," Linny said as she guided Belinda to a rickety chair taken from the soldier's mess haul that had been used to replace the old luxurious one that had been there.

"Very well," Belinda said. "Oooh! I don't remember this chair being so comfy!"

Linny began to paw through the queen's smaller possessions, taking some of the (paste) jewelry and other little knick-nacks, but her plans were soon interrupted...
