“So wait, this one let’s me be a paladin like Moria? That’d be interesting,” John said as he held the circular object between his index finger and thumb.

“So you’ll gain new abilities with this, master?” asked John’s loyal protector, who stared at the marble sized object that glowed with a radiant light.

“Yep. If I understand the explanation correctly, then I can use this to change my current powers of a warrior to that of a paladin.”

“Ok, but how?” asked Idena, still mesmerized by the module.

“Uh… that’s a good question, Idena,” John said, realizing he actually didn’t know how to change the modules or if he had to somehow “learn” a new module in order to use it. “Well, there’s only one way to find out: by trial and error!” John declared as he used his free hand to bring up his character sheet. He clicked on Module, which caused a drop down menu to appear before a new pop-up appeared before his eyes.

John quickly clicked yes and watched as the module dissolved in his hands as a new option formed on his drop down menu.

“Well, guess we know how this works,” decided John as he mulled between sticking it out as a warrior and trying a new module. “Ah, what the hell!” said John as he clicked the paladin option. Suddenly John was engulfed in a bright light that swirled around him, pushing Idena back away from him. John closed his eyes to prevent them from being burnt out by the holy light. That’s when he felt something digging into his chest… no… his soul, connecting to it. Ahhhh. It burns! thought John, unable to open his mouth to speak. After a few seconds the searing pain ended and he felt a new power in him. Idena watched in horror as the light surrounding her love suddenly got sucked into John’s chest. Once it was gone, she rushed to his side, catching him as he stumbled and nearly fell to the ground.

“Master?! Master! Are you alright?!” pleaded Idena, worried that she had failed her new duties already. John slowly got to his feet, his hand on her shoulder, using her to steady himself as he stood under his own power again.

“I’m… I’m alright, Idena. I just feel a little weak from the transformation,” John said to the worried Idena, his words helping to soothe her. Her hands rubbed against his bare chest, feeling to make sure everything was ok. Wait, why can I feel Idena’s hands on my chest? questioned John as he looked down and noticed he was only wearing his cape and boots. “Uh… where’d my clothes go?” asked John. Idena just shrugged and held onto him tighter.

John read over the pop-ups and noticed the two mysterious modules were clickable so he decided to see what happened.

This module is gained by partaking in a dark form of magic that any sensible mage would stay away from.

This module is gained by learning the ways of an ancient form of magic, long thought lost.

“Huh,” John said as he looked at the list of modules he brought up. He saw the three he had currently, a warrior, shaman, and paladin module, but also three mysterious modules. Two he had just seen and the third one matched the other, saying it was an ancient, lost form of magic.

“Well, can’t do much about that right at the moment,” said John as he brought up his new character sheet.

John scanned over the sheet. He saw that his stats had dropped and gotten worked before he quickly spotted them all sitting safely in his unspent points pile.

“Hmm. Seems like switching modules resets all my stat points. I wonder if that’s only for the first time I use a new module? That’d make the most sense I think. Reset the points so I can spend them to best suit the new module and then just put any new points I gain into the unspent points pool,” concluded John.

“That sounds like it’s a good thing, it is a good thing, right, master?” asked Idena, her eyes wide as she listened to her master explain his powers to her. He smiled as he looked down into her eyes.

“Yep! And thanks for the save earlier, Idena. You did well!” Idena was aglow after hearing the praise from John. She hugged him even tighter, not wanting to let go. John hugged her back, happy to have her and Yatina at his side to save him from what was most likely a ****. “But now we have a new problem,” realized John as he and Idena let go of each other.

“What is it, master?”

“Well, we’re in a barrier in my teacher’s bedroom. Now you can just transform into your human form, right?” asked John, suddenly realizing that Idena may not have that power anymore. Idena could see the worry slowly appear on John’s face, which caused her to giggle.

“It’s fine, master, I can still look like a regular human. But I think I know where you’re going with this. Yatina is a dragon that is too young to change shape, so how do we get her out of here and back to your kingdom?” asked Idena, with a hint of pride in knowing what her master was thinking. John smiled.

“You are exactly right. How do we get you home, Yatina?” asked John as he gave his pet dragon whelp a pat on the head. Yatina flew around the two out of sheer happiness of getting a pat and then let out a loud roar that just kept going. After a few seconds, John and Idena both grew worried as the young dragon still roared until Idena noticed what the roar was doing and showed John. She grabbed his head and moved it slightly to his left and there he saw it: a small hole in what looked like reality itself. The rift grew to roughly the size of Yatina and then she stopped.

John clicked on the move to see what it did.

Yatina calls forth strange and unknown powers to rip a hole in the very fabric of reality itself. This allows her to transport to any location she has previously visited. It can bypass any and all security defenses. Only usable out of combat and once per day.

“Well, that solves that problem, doesn’t it, girl?” John said as he rewarded Yatina with another salvo of pats, which Idena joined in as well. Happy with the amount of praise and pats she had received, Yatina flew through the portal and back to John’s kingdom, with the portal collapsing once Yatina was through, preventing anyone else from traveling through it. “Ok, Idena, now comes the hard part. I’ll leave the barrier first and wait 5 minutes before leaving. I’ll hopefully be able to get June to not notice you appearing in her bedroom out of nowhere. That could lead to a very uncomfortable situation,” John informed his Kingsguard, who nodded in understanding.

John left the barrier and braced himself to try to explain away to his art teacher what exactly happened. Instead, John appeared to a passed out June being fucked by two succubi.

What if it would have damaged her too?” John said rather loudly, to which June did not respond to. “I need to think better about the people around me. I was too focused on killing the demons I didn’t think about June who they were both practically on top of!” he nearly screamed to himself. Taking a few deep breaths, John clicked on the pop up to see what it said about Exorcism.

Costs 5 Holy Power
A holy spell that can only be used on demons and creatures corrupted by demons. Lesser demons will be utterly destroyed by the holy power while greater demons will either take damage or be banished, depending on demon’s power. Corrupted creatures will have the demonic energy purged from them.

“Well, that’s a huge relief. But it also shows that June isn’t corrupted by the demon. And it will come in handy against Riska when I see her again,” John concluded as he eyed up June.
