“Wow. So do you think Riska let them there to slow you down?” asked Idena.

“Hmm. I dunno, maybe? Of course, she talked like she used June like that very often, so for all we know that could have been a normal thing,” concluded John.

“Thank you, Gaia, for that gear. It is much needed,” John happily said as he equipped the gear. “Hmm. We need to find an alchemist soon. I bet we could make some rare stuff with some of these reagents we’ve gotten,” John told Idena.

“That would be a good idea, master. But where could we find one?” asked Idena.

“Well, I bet Mrs. Wentworth probably knows somebody, so I’ll talk with her on Monday and see if she can get somebody for us,” John decided, as he got out his cell phone. “Ok, I’m gonna call the twins and have them meet us in the park near here. Then all 4 of us will go into a barrier and train for a bit. You and I both need to get used to our new powers. But first, let’s spend these stat points I got,” said John.

“I dunno,” Miho said as she stared intensely at Idena, “She looks pretty much the same. Well, except for these!” she said as she grabbed Idena’s larger breasts. Idena let out a shocked squeal before she wrapped her arms around Miho and brought her in for a deep and passionate kiss.

“Just wait till we’re in a barrier, then you’ll see the new me!” she told the younger twin, who smiled and grabbed Idena’s butt in response.

“So, you now have the powers of a paladin?” asked Mikuru, who was much more focused on John’s abilities completely changing.

“Just like the warden?”

“Yeah, I guess, now that you mention it. Hmm, I wonder how Moira would react to me having powers similar to her?” asked John as he pondered the various reactions of Moira, none of them with her happily accepting them.

“I don’t believe it would be good,” Mikuru reaffirmed John’s hypothesis, who decided it would be best to tell her in an open place surrounded by allies.

“We can worry about that Monday. For now, let us venture into a barrier! But first, let's all join as one party,” said John as he sent out party invites to all his followers. Once the party was complete, John activated a barrier,which transported himself and his ladies into a forest based barrier. John looked around at the forest, which looked oddly familiar to him. “Hmm.”
“What is it, John?” asked Mikuru.

“I dunno. It feels like I’ve been here before. Are like all the barriers we make connected?” asked a curious John. Mikuru just shrugged in response.

“Depends on who you ask. Some people say everything in the barrier is artificially created while others say we enter a separate but parallel world. Most believe the first because that makes it a lot easier to slaughter the contents,” Mikuru informed John.

“I… I see,” was all John could say in response. Without another word, he just started walking. The girls quickly followed behind him. As he walked, John cast Summon Dragon, which allowed Yatina to join the group. She happily flew around and received pats from all the girls as she followed her master.

The group made their way through the forest until the came across a bear. A quick Observe showed it was no match for any of the group, so John allowed Idena to take it out to show off her new look and powers to the rest of the girls. Sadly, Idena’s plan of a surprise attack was destroyed the moment she transformed into her harpy form.

“OMGYOULOOKSOSEXYLIKETHAT!” screamed Miho at the top of her lungs, the bear instantly noticed the group encroaching on its territory. It let out a powerful roar and charged at the group. Idena quickly flapped her wings to get ahead of the group and intercept the bear. Miho was in awe as Idena flew backwards from her with a smile on her face. With a quick readjustment of her wings, Idena spun around to face the bear, who did not see Idena’s lightning-infused hand connect with its lower jaw. The bear flew into the air from the **** of the punch before it fell to the ground, dead. He saw a miniscule amount of experience pop up from the kill.

The next thing Idena knew, something had grabbed her from behind. She turned her neck just in time to see Miho’s face as she once again groped the harpy.

“That was sooooooo cool!” Miho told Idena, who smiled at the praise.

“Thanks, Miho. It's my job as the Kingsguard to protect our king!” She said with pride oozing out of her words.

“Kingsguard?” Asked the twins in unison with confused looks on their face.

“Oh, right! We forgot to tell you!” realized John. “Well, it seems that Idena was given a new position, that of Kingsguard. She is the first in what will likely be many. I'll have to check the computer back at the castle to see what other positions are available,” informed John. There was a round of congratulations for Idena, who happily accepted all the praise she received. “Ok, let's continue onward!” commanded John as he set off flanked by the girls and Yatina flying overhead.

The group traveled through the woods, coming across packs of wolves or a single bear. They made quick work of anything they came across. It was rather boring for the group and they were just about to give up when they stumbled upon a scene they were clearly not meant to.

“No! Get away! I want nothing to do with you!” came a scared voice.

“Now, now, sweetie. I’ll take real good care of you,” came a lecherous voice. “You’ll be a great addition to my group!”

“We have to help her!” cried Miho, with Mikuru, Idena, and even Yatina all agreeing.

“Ok, ok, we’ll help her,” acquiesced John, who set out to formulate a plan. John thought quickly as the screams of the woman grew louder as the man crept closer to her. “Ok, I got it! First, Yatina go and distract him! A dragon will surely get his attention,” John said as he patted his dragon, who yelped happily. “So, once he gets distracted by that, Idena and Mikuru will engage him. With him distracted by fighting those two, you’ll sweep in and grab the girl, ok?” John said to Miho, who nodded. “I’ll flank him on the other side and we’ll end him,” John finished. “Ok, let me cast Observe and then we’ll begin our plan,” he told the girls.

Woah, what a pathetic loser! thought John, noticing his stats were horrible for a level 7, plus he had two STDs. He was everything John feared he would become, and now it was time for John to snuff out that potential part of him.

Miho had worked her way around the strange man and girl to get behind Them. As soon as he was distracted, she’d fly in, grab the girl, and gust out, with the man none the wiser.

Idena and Mikuru had moved up front, hidden by some bushes. The two were waiting for John’s signal to bound out and engage the man, distracting him long enough for Miho to complete her part of the plan. They glanced over at John, who gave them a quick nod, signaling to go when Yatina made her presence known. Yatina, meanwhile, flew above the group, ready for her chance to go. She watched John’s hands closely, the signal yet to be used. What felt like eternity to the young dragon passed before John’s hand made the “go” motion.

Yatina dived at the pathetic summoner, letting out her fiercest roar as she cut through the sky. As planned, the summoner looked up to spot the dragon whelping barreling towards him.

“W-what is that?” he said in a startled voice. “A dragon? Out here? That’s odd…” he said right as Yatina let loose a fireball from her mouth. The purple-black flames erupted from her mouth, formed as large as a basketball. The attack **** Steve to move away from the scared girl. With the summoner stumbling backwards to dodge Yatina’s attack, Idena flew out of the bushes with Mikuru running behind her.

“For the king!” yelled Idena as she charged her gauntlets with lightning. Mikuru mirrored the harpy’s plans and formed her stone gauntlets for combat.

“Wh-what is going on?!” was all Steve could get out as he tripped attempting to run from the girls. John stepped out of the shadows from behind him.

“You will not hurt that girl!” John said in a forceful voice.

“Y-you don’t scare me!” said the shaking summoner. “Do you know who I am?!” shouted Steve.

“You are Steve Sancho, a summoner who can’t even summon a single female monstergirl. In fact, you are a huge disappointment to your family. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if they disowned you!” gloated John, who showed he held all the power in this situation. “Miho, how’s the girl?” asked John. Miho and the girl landed next to John a few seconds later.

“She’s A-OK!” Miho happily stated. “Oh, and she’s not just a girl, she’s an elf girl!” Miho said as she directed everyone’s attention to rescued girl’s ears. John looked over the rest of the elf and was quite happy with what he saw.

She had golden skin that matched her bright blonde hair. Her green eyes met John's, and he saw happiness. He could see in her eyes that she would reward the leader of the women who saved her from a terrible fate. His eyes moved down her body to her ample bosom. Her thin, white, cloth top barely covered her breasts, which mesmerized John as they rose and fell with her labored breathing. Her long skirt hinted at her golden legs thanks to a very generous slit. John also noticed jewelry around the elf’s body. It all appeared to be silver, with the links on her hands having an emerald stone on the back of her hand. Her feet had similar jewelry with smaller emeralds. What John found most interesting was the fact that she had the jewelry on her torso, and it went underneath her top and skirt.
