Idena Reborn

“Woah, a greater harpy? And a member of the Kingsguard? Since when do I have a Kingsguard?” John asked, very confused by the information he was just shown.

“You have them now, master. And I will be your shield against any who dares threaten you, like this dirty whore!” yelled Idena with pride in her voice as she thrust her generous chest out for the same reason. “I shall use my life to protect yours, none shall harm you anymore!” She said as she summoned lightning to wrap around her new gauntlets, intent on using her new skills on Riska. Riska unfurled her wings and attempted to fly away, not intent to being shock punched by the harpy she now faced. Idena, however, had different plans. She launched herself into the air with her powerful legs and let her new wings flap to life, driving her to her target. John looked on in amazement as Idena’s new form gave her new levels of speed and power as Idena used one hand to grab Riska’s tail and pull her down. Once in range, Idena punched Riska in the small of her back, between her wings, electricity wrapping around her body to provide additional damage to the succubus. The **** of the attack caused Riska’s wings to fail, making her spiral down to the ground, her impact leaving a small indent on the ground.

Riska struggled to get up. Her arms felt heavy as she pushed herself up. She used her left knee to steady herself as she wiped some blood from her mouth.

“You…you FUCKING BITCH!” she yelled at Idena. “You’ll pay for this! You’ll all pay for this!” she screamed at them as she steadied herself on her legs.

“Hahahaha!” laughed Idena, clearly not afraid of Riska as she landed right in front of the succubus. “You are weak compared to me! I shall slay you in the name of my king!” she declared as she raised a hand towards Riska.

“Perhaps, but not today!” she said as she created black smoke that swirled around her. Idena thrust her electrified fist forward, intent on striking down the succubus before she escaped. Sadly for Idena, the black smoke deflected her attack while Riska disappeared into the smoke, laughing the entire time. “I shall come back for you, boy, your soul will be mine!”

“Dammit!” yelled Idena, frustrated that she could not capture the threat to her king. The least she could do was check on him, so she rushed to his side. “Master, are you ok?” she asked, worry heavy in her voice as she got down to match John, who was resting on his knees, and wrapped her arms around him. Because of Idena’s new changes, this meant that John’s head was now firmly snuggled in Idena’s generous tits. He gave her breasts a quick face rub before indicating to her to release her grip and the two got to their feet. Yatina, feeling left out, flew over and licked John’s face.

“You did well, Yatina!” John said as he gave her head a few pats. She let out a roar of approval at the pats and flew over to Idena who took her in her arms, the young dragon snuggling against Idena’s large chest. She let out purrs as Idena petted her while she talked with John. “How’d you even end up here, Idena? I summoned Yatina and I don’t have a spell to summon my companions,” asked John.

“I don’t know, master,” answered the harpy. “I was sitting down with Yatina on my lap petting her, much like what we’re doing now, when suddenly a bright light engulfed her and I grabbed onto her even tighter, refusing to let her go. I guess the light must have just taken me to you as well,” she said. Yatina let out a little yelp of agreement before burying her head back into Idena’s cleavage.

“That’s an interesting piece of information to have,” John decided as he saw the pop-up indicator flashing out of the corner of his eye. “Well, let’s see what we earned,” John said as he clicked the button and multiple pop-up windows flew at his face. Luckily John had become so used to this that he no longer flinched every time it happened like he did before.

Welcome to the fully unlocked HUD of your powers! First, let’s take a look at it should we?

Huh, that does look quite more…advanced then the previous one I was using, John thought to himself as his eyes scanned the new window. The color was an interesting choice to John, who wondered if Gaia picked out colors he liked from his subconscious for this new paint job.

Ok, let’s break this shit down, shall we? First off, let’s check out section 1!

As we see with this picture, this section has 3 big changes: module/class, guild information, and alignment. Let's look at the first change.

Modules determines what kind of powers you’ll get. You can receive these from a variety of ways, but mostly from me bestowing them upon you and you connecting with people. As such, your connections with Miho, Mikuru, and Idena have formed a new module for you. I could have given you one from each of them buuuuuuuuuuut it was easier just to mash them together and give you a module with shaman abilities. So grats, loot!

Now, getting back to the task at hand. Your default module is the one you crafted in your early quests I gave you: an RPG warrior module. You now have an RPG shaman module and another one that’s a secret. You’ll have to install it to see what it is!

“You’re loving the whole ‘what’s in the module’ routine, aren’t you?”

Yes, yes I am. Now, at your current level, you can change a module once per day. This can happen while in combat. As you gain more levels, you’ll be able to change modules more often per day in and out of combat. Currently, all your modules are of normal quality. There are rare, epic, and legendary modules out there, so go get ‘em big boy! Now, on to the second change:

As you may have noticed, there are guilds in the Abyss. You techinically have your own since you own a kingdom and all, but alas you never messed around with the computer to actually see everything you can do. So yeah, go make a guild so I can update Idena’s information! The third change is as follows:

Yeah, the D&D alignment chart? Pretty accurate in a simplified way. In a complex way, some groups can see themselves as lawful good while others can see that same group as lawful evil. Your powers will show what you think the group to be and will change as your perception changes. So keep that in mind. Now, section 2!

List of all your moves separated into passive and active. Each module has its own movesets that you can give it as long as it falls into the fantasy of that class. So keep that in mind! Now, section 3.

You have a party window now. Well, you’ve technically had a party window since the beginning, you were just literally too stupid to try to party up.
John raised his finger and opened his mouth to object but thought about it more, realized Gaia was right, and closed his mouth while lowering his arms to his side. “Yeah…that one is deserved…” admitted John.

I know it was, that’s why I said it. Anyways, that’s all for the new HUD! The party window can be toggled off and only brought up when you want to. Ok, that’s all you need to know, now get out there and wreck some shit!
