Trying to focus

"It's a pleasure to see all my students gathered here, as one. All the faculty will continue to help you as best as they can, so please do not hesitate to ask if you need help. As some of you may have noticed we have had a few new students join slightly late into the year so please be kind to them. It would also do us all a great honour if you could all stand up briefly for us so we can take you faces in" the headmistress, Mrs Le Feurve says softly into the microphone. You can feel your heart already increasing before she finished that sentence, mind still baffled from your recent discovery you now have to stand up in front of 200+ students whilst trying not to have a breakdown or looking like you've just came out of a sauna.

Ms Williams coughs attracting your attention, she has a closed grin on her face clearly intrigued on how this will play out. A student at the front stands up first saving you from the initial glares of every student, soon after a few more dotted around the hall begin to stand up, its then that you realise you should join them. A few more follow after you before the Headmistress speaks up again, "great, that took longer than I thought but I commend you bravery" she says chuckling at that last part. Murmurs begin to circulate around the room as do the heads, you spot Zoe as she smiles and waves before her friends all begin to giggle to each other, a few wolf whistles are made which stir the other students to begin whistling. The whole time you can feel Ms Williams staring at you almost as if she's analysing you, you can see the other students becoming bewildered as it feels like the once silent crowd will become a riot.

"ENOUGH !", the voice booms around the room as the students become deadly silent in an instance, you flinch at the authority behind the voice and cringe as you hear your tormenting English teacher Ms Williams let out a stifled laugh.
"What the hell was that? Are you animals? Please be seated, some of these students seriously cannot control themselves. As you know I'll be personally meeting you all individually at the times specified on your welcome letter.". Mrs Le Feurve then continues to talk about events happening throughout the year and other information no student is taking note of. Your able to catch your bearings before the assembly ends and the faculty members speed off trying to get ahead of students before classes start. "Follow me, i'll make sure you don't get lost trying to find the heads office" Ms Williams says standing up, adjusting the length under her skirt.
