The Blauwalt Forest

You walk along the thin strip of beach, attempting to get past these cliffs and reach the Victory Road towards Gerlangen. After you’ve walked for about an hour, you remember there to be a small lagoon somewhere on the cliffside. How strange you haven’t discovered it yet. Maybe, after exiting the tunnel, you should have taken the other direction. It is too late to turn back now.

After a few more hours, you finally come to the end of the cliffs. You leave the beach, head over a few dunes, and then you reach a forest. The Blauwalt Forest straddles the Victory Road, the very road you need to follow in order to reach the city of Gerlangen. Just one problem: where in the forest is this road?

You have to start your search somewhere, so you begin walking in the hopes of finding the road that will lead you to your destination.

It isn't easy crossing the forest barefooted. There are lots of twigs that prick you when you step on them, or fallen leaves that are slick and make you slip. You can't wait until you reach the road.
Suddenly you think you hear something. You turn around, but don’t see anything.

You raise your sword and keep your back to a large tree. This should make it more difficult for someone to come at you from behind. From your peripheral vision you see something blurry coming towards you. You drop to your knees and roll away just in time to evade an attack. You quickly get back to your feet and face your attacker.

What you see is a human sized daemon with grey skin, elongated fingers, an armored tail and four small horns sticking out of his skull. It is a hunter daemon. These daemons are known for being quick and agile. Fighting him will be difficult.

Then you hear another sound behind you. You turn to see what it is and see Glenda and the succubus. The same two people you met in the baths, both of them equally naked as before. Though Glenda now has a pentagram tattooed on her belly, just above her small patch of green pubic hair.

“Good evening, Sabine," coos the succubus. "Did you miss me?”

“You!” You yell accusingly at the succubus. “You said you would let me leave.”

“Indeed, I promised, and so you were permitted to leave the baths, thus my promise was fulfilled," says the daemoness. “Now imagine my surprise as I traverse this forest and find a new opportunity to take you for myself.”

A wicked smile appears on the succubus’s lips as you realize that this was all a trap. She knew fighting you in the baths would be unfavorable. Once you left, she must have convinced this hunter daemon to help her hunt you down. Now she’s got an ally to fight with her. You never should have trusted a daemon.
