Spill it all...

You gulp. If you start to let it out right now you have no idea when you'll stop.

"Ok. There's a lot more to explain. But I need a drink."

You finally get up off your step and trail off into the kitchen. You go to get a glass of water on autopilot, stumbling only momentarily when you wave your hand at the cupboard door handle a couple of times, and realizing that of course - you're a whole lot shorter than you used to be.

Once you've got your full glass, you turn to see Gwen sitting on the breakfast bar with a look on her face that is equal parts supportive, curious, and eager.

Sipping at the ice cold water, you think about how best to begin.

Sigh. "Alright then. This morning I was woken up by a phone call from a withheld number. It was a woman - I think... it was kind of a weird line - who was babbling about 'having some fun' with me. They... did this. Somehow. And claimed I was going to be transformed for 48 hours. I've never spoken to them before... I can't think who they are or why they decided to do this - or why I'm their target. I mean... last night I'd have laughed you out the room if you said someone could wake up in a completely different body, so it's not like I have a frame of reference here."

"Creepy. Still, at least it's only for a couple of days. Although if I were you I wouldn't want to change back."

"Well... that's the other thing. The big one. Obviously you've noticed that I'm... sensitive. And holy hell I'm super horny. Well. They also said - Jesus this sounds weird - that I have the body of a 'nice fertile little girl'. That somehow part of the curse is that if even a single sperm gets into my womb, I will be pregnant and stay like this forever."

"Holy shit. That is fucked up! If the circumstances were different I'd say that was a load of bull, but if they're able to transform you like this it's probably true."

Silence as you sip your water some more. You're trying really hard not to break down as you prepare yourself to reveal the next and final piece of news.

But Gwen breaks the silence first. "Well that's not too bad! It shouldn't be too hard to keep you away from sperm for two days! We can just do fun sister stuff and ride the time out, and boom there you go: back to your studly ways."

Her words are like a punch to your gut. "No Gwen. You see... that's the awful part."

"What do you mean?" Her eyes narrow.

"Oh jesus," you moan. "Well... last night me and Alex agreed to meet up this morning. He came over just after I woke up."

"So? Alex is always round here. What's that got to do with it? Oh. You mean..."

You tell her. About Alex seeing you as a girl, about the pool and him pulling you in, about him touching you, how good it felt despite yourself: everything. You try to be fair to him by explaining how your body reacted, but by the time you get to the part about being bent over the sun lounger Gwen's eyes are blazing.

"That asshole," she seethes, "that fucking dickhead **** fucking asshole."

"I really... really tried to resist. I swear. But once he was in me I was lost. Sis, it just felt incredible." At this point your resolve cracks again and the huge, heaving sobs return.

"I'm going to skin that fucker alive. How dare he?" Somehow she's at your side by now, gripping your hands and you can see her knuckles are pure white.

"So... well. I tried to make him, but he didn't pull out. So now I have a womb full of his stupid fucking spunk and I'm probably pregnant already. So this is me. This is really me... for the rest of my life. And... I'm going to have a baby."

Now Gwen's arms are wrapped around you and your tears are streaming onto her shoulder. You hug her back with a fierce need, to be protected and comforted by another human being. You wail and wail, each hoarse cry ripping itself from your heaving chest. Gwen utters gentle soothing shushing sounds as she strokes your hair and back and shoulders. The two of you stay like that for what feels like a long time.

"Ok honey. So I don't know how this is going to work out any more than you do. But I'm going to help you get through it. The way I see it, we have a few things we need to do right now."

You look up at her, lost in your emotions and **** for her guidance.

"First, you can take the morning after pill. I suspect it won't work, as what's happened to you is obviously some kind of twisted magic, but it's worth a shot. But I gotta warn you: It's fucking horrible and you'll feel like absolute crap. I have a couple stashed up in my room, so if you're gonna do it you should be taking it, like, ten minutes ago.

"Second, we need to figure out how to tell Mom and Dad. Fortunately they won't be back for almost a week, so I guess... uh... once they're here we'll know for sure. About you, I mean.

"Third, we make your deadbeat baby daddy own up and take responsibility. That is if I can keep myself from strangling him the moment I see him. Whether or not you're, um, stuck like this, he needs to be taught a goddam lesson that no means no.

"Finally, we need to get you into some clothes that fit. Holy cow hun, it's a crime to shroud that killer bod in some teenage boy's gym gear... Oh, and I guess we also need a name for you while you're like this, as calling you John is gonna raise eyebrows when we leave the house.

"And so help me, if you suggest Johnina, I'm going to tip that glass of water over your head."
