...Anyway, what was I on about? Right, Mom's anxiety. She's had this habit of reading too much into things for the longest time now. It served her well when she was studying, but when it came time for her tests she'd always second guess herself and bomb.

Consequently, she told me she ended up changing majors from Chemistry to Streaming at the Paidford staff's recommendation which... Honestly, I, she's probably better off that way. I'd hate to see what would happen in a lab if she got too far into her head. Brr.

Anyway, that same tendency to read into the situation and go on a complete tangent ended up charming a lot of viewers, making her a surprisingly successful streamer. To the layman, anyway. Anyone familiar with the scene would know it's the dichotomy: She's a fully-grown woman with an adorable sort of charm to her, who's completely unafraid of showing herself off while still worried it'll be good enough to excite and...

Maybe that's what I should focus on? I wouldn't want to rip out that anxiety and warp her personality too much, after all. But then again, I doubt it would really hurt her success to be more confident: Just change her fandom around a bit.
