Chapter 62 by Icequeen52 Icequeen52

In The Morning

Morning Sex, Breakfast And Spiders

Waking up, as always, is heaven. Then reality sets in and I realise that I have to pee. Carefully extracting myself from the bed without waking up my girlfriends, I make my way to the bathroom and close the door behind me to relieve myself. As I sit down on the porcelain throne, I sigh sleepily and happily. My life is surreal at this point. Everything feels like a dream, though currently that feeling might have something to do with me still being sleepy.

After I’ve finished up, making sure to wait a few minutes to clean myself properly, I flush, wash my hands and make my way back in bed, getting in on Ivy’s side and snuggling against her. She rolls over and looks me in the eyes, smiling warmly. ‘Good morning my love. How’d you sleep?’ I hope the butterflies in my chest never stop. ‘Perfectly. And you?’

‘I don’t technically sleep in the same way as you do, I don’t need to. I just find it pleasant to lay down with you and Mia, and switch my brain to a passive state. It is comforting, but not sleep in the same way you experience.’ She explains. I nod, interested. ‘Huh, that’s kinda cool actually. So you can stay up 24 hours a day if you want?’ ‘If I feel like it, yes.’

We fall silent for a few minutes, and she brings me closer for full body cuddles. The loving embrace is an incredible feeling that I doubt I could ever get tired of. The pleasant squish of her chest against mine contributes to the amazing experience. I feel incredibly lucky at that moment. Even more so with what Ivy says next.

‘Do you want to have sex while we wait for Mia to wake up?’ Instead of answering through our mental connection, I kiss her, the healer happily kissing me back. I let my feelings of love and lust radiate through our connection as our kisses get more heated. We try to keep quiet, not wanting to disturb Mia.

Ivy strokes my dick gently while I play with her tits. She gets on top of me and gently rides me, and the view is incredible. Her ample chest rising and falling, her vibrantly red hair with the ever so slight pinkish tinge, falling down around me, her beautiful eyes locked onto mine as she rides me at a pleasant, slow pace.

She leans down and kisses me, gently caressing my body, as I do hers. Our gentle, sensual lovemaking continues until Ivy whimpers softly, her orgasm building up. I look her in the eyes and whisper to her. “Cum for me, my Ivy!” Her eyes screw up in pleasure and she stops moving for a second, while I massage her incredible body.

After she rides out her orgasm, Ivy climbs off and starts to suck my cock lovingly, locking eyes with me as she does so. She’s not in any rush, and neither am I. Eventually, the pleasant and soft movements of her mouth and tongue push me to orgasm, and I moan softly. Ivy greedily swallows my entire load, before crawling up the bed and collapsing next to me.

After a few minutes of snuggling and aftercare, we get up to take a shower. Somehow, Mia still hasn’t woken up. While in the shower, I get curious as to how the water is reacting with Ivy’s ‘skin’, and whether or not she’ll eventually start to rust, if exposed to enough water and given enough time. When I ask her about it, she denies that idea. “Magic.” Is her simple explanation, and given the many fantastical things that I have already seen magic accomplish, that’s a perfectly reasonable answer.

Mia is already awake by the time we get out of the shower and dry off. We go downstairs to have breakfast, with Ivy making us bacon and eggs. The conversation is light, the breakfast is hearty and the jokes are plentiful. We decide that our goal for today is another 2 levels for Ivy and I, which would get us up to level 27, if everything goes well.

Once we finish breakfast, we clean up and head into our first dungeon. We decide that since Ivy and I are at level 25, which is the top of tier 5, that this is the perfect time to finally try out the spiders dungeon. I still don’t really want to, but I figure I’ll probably go up against worse someday outside of dungeons, so I might as well.

Once inside, my instinctive reaction is squeamishness at the sight of the spiders. They are indeed giant spiders, and they’re quite a bit more terrifying than they were in Skyrim VR. After killing a few of them though and settling into a nice rhythm, I quickly become used to them. Ivy and Mia have an easier time of it than I do, and soon we’re breezing through these enemies the same way as the other dungeons.

Unfortunately for me, the giant spiders are resistant to frost magic, so levelling those skills in this dungeon is out. They attack in one of two ways, by either charging and biting with their menacing fangs, or spitting venom. This dungeon is balanced in a way so that only a couple of the spiders are around at any given time, which is just as well. If there were more, it would be a lot more difficult, and it’s challenging enough as it is.

The venom acts in the same way that the acidic slime did, so it’s incredibly corrosive. Given that the environment consists of rocky terrain with no flora around to speak of, it makes it a lot more difficult to wipe off, as I find out when a spider hits me with its venom spit attack and causes me to lose a quarter of my HP.

I end up having to resort to pulling a spare shirt out of my inventory and using that to wipe off the corrosive venom. We approach each enemy with care throughout the dungeon and despite one or two major incidents involving large percentages of HP gone, we manage to make it to the boss with a fair chunk of our resources left.

The boss is at least different from the usual “take the thing and make it bigger” that’s been in my other dungeons so far. Instead of a super giant spider, the boss is a spawner of sorts. It’s a cocoon of spider webs hanging from the ceiling. The webs it’s hanging from are immune to damage, so we can’t just cut it down and wail away on it. Instead there are waves we have to defeat, a wave of the giant spiders during which the cocoon throws out web attacks that have a slowing effect, followed by a period of time where we can damage the boss. It’s certainly the most creative boss that we’ve faced so far, and I’m glad for that fact.

While the boss is interesting, the loot table really isn’t. A lot of spider, egg and web related things that probably won’t see much use, even for Ivy to level up from. Still, the boss waves are more challenging than the first part of the dungeon as there are more spiders in the dungeon and more to keep track of. It’s a pretty challenging fight all things considered, and requires a lot of concentration, coordination and resource management from all three of us.

1500xp

Despite the difficulty, we manage to finish the boss without entering into the ‘almost died’ territory of how tricky this dungeon is, and with a sizable chunk of XP to boot. We pick up the loot (nothing interesting, as expected), and head back home to rest for a bit.

Discussing the aftermath of the dungeon, we agree that although that dungeon was a refreshingly difficult challenge and that the boss was creative, we aren’t super keen to do it again due to how taxing it was on our resources. Ivy’s mana bar takes an hour to refill fully, and we have to wait the full hour due to Ivy having to use some of her stored mana to heal Mia and I.

Once I’ve listed all the spider dungeon loot on the auction, due to it being uninteresting, and we’re all back to full health and mana, we go back out to our second dungeon of the day. This time, we choose the slime dungeon, for a more controlled, slow paced and relaxed fight.

Granted, the careful planning and positioning of the slime enemies isn’t exactly relaxing, but it’s a lot more relaxed and less frantic than the spider or goblin dungeons. The rhythm of the slime dungeon is engaging in a different way, requiring us to have careful spatial awareness, timing and planning for positioning the slimes right and using my ice magic to freeze them, so they’re easy to kill.

And it was such a nice day...
