Chapter 32 by Dexabyssin Dexabyssin

Jessica date

Jessica date

(Jessica POV)

The ambient noise of the concert made Jessica smile. She'd been dreaming of going to this music festival for years. SXSW really was one of the best music festivals on the planet. It was crazy crowded. The music was so loud that people could hardly hear each other talk. It was heaven.

She could have completely surrendered to the moment, but the person standing next to her was still holding back some of her thoughts. To think she'd had to wait 4 days before being able to have him all to herself. She was going to make the most of it.

Leo's blue-gray eyes were what fascinated her most. It was as if the whole sky had been painted in them. She knew that her interest in the boy was artificial and caused by a transformation, but if there was one thing she'd learned in her life, it was that there's no point in swimming against the current. All you do is exhaust your strength, and the sea always wins in the end.

She intended to seduce him and then establish herself as the undisputed head of the harem. She would live a dream life with her Leo, accompanied by many servants taking care of their every need.

"My darling Leo, I hope you like my idea. We're in Austin, Texas, USA. And this is South by Southwest (SXSW), the best music festival of all time." Says Jessica

Leo grimaced. Why on earth had he grimaced? Did he have something against Texas? The USA? Oh no, of course it's the temperature, he's not used to the Texas climate. How could I have been so stupid? I should have chosen a festival further north. Jessica thought.

"It's really crowded." Said Leo.

Of course, it was crowded-it was a festival. Was he stupider than I thought? Jessica mused.

"There's every kind of music here, Rock, Pop, Electro, etc. You can listen to whatever you want here." Jessica said enthusiastically.

Leo really didn't seem to share her enthusiasm. Too bad she was going to have to **** him. Once he was in the crowd with the music, he'd be fine. She grabbed him by the hand and pulled him towards a Pops concert a few dozen meters away.

After a few minutes, Leo spoke up.

"The music's good but..."

Jessica didn't hear the end of the sentence, but from what she understood, he was beginning to enjoy the festival. The only thing she was afraid of was that he wouldn't like the music. That would have really made things difficult. Who doesn't like music anyway. Everybody likes music except maybe the deaf. But Leo's not deaf, so it passes, right?

She spent the morning dragging him from one artist to another. Once lunchtime arrived, they went for sandwiches at a local stand before settling down on a bench.

"So, you like this kind of festival," says Leo.

He seemed keen to strike up a conversation. The opportunity was not to be missed.

"Of course! Who doesn't love music festivals?" she replied.

Leo didn't answer her question.

"And what do you do for a living?" Asked the young engineer.

Ah, the famous question. Fortunately, she'd had some time to think about her answer.

"After law school I chose to take the time to think about what I really wanted to do so for now I'm living off odd jobs." Says Jessica.

"It's important to think about what you want to do with your life. I have to admit that I've always put off making that choice as long as possible, and that's led me to where I am today." Leo says, his gaze lost in the sky.

"I don't think it's worked out too badly for you. You've got a sublime harem of a girl ready to satisfy your every desire. I don't see what you've got to complain about." Jessica says.

"It's more complicated than that." Says Leo.

_"Is it? Sounds pretty simple to me. You weren't happy with your life before and a Leprechaun came along and gave you everything you could possibly want. Pretty cool, huh?" _Says Jessica.

_"I never meant to kidnap you!" _Says Leo.

"No doubt, but from what I understand you like the idea of having a harem. Don't worry, you're a guy, it's normal. Almost all guys have this kind of dream, but you've got a chance to make it come true." Jessica said.

Leo didn't reply. They finished eating and went back to listening to different kinds of music.

Jessica found it really hard to understand Leo. He had a harem of girls who she had to admit were all pretty, even if she was still the prettiest of them all, but he didn't seem satisfied.

Did he want a bigger harem? After all, there were only 6 people, including Eric. Far from excessive. Perhaps he wanted one for each day of the month or year? If it was 365, the competition would be stiff. Perhaps alliances would have to be made?

In any case, these would be questions for later. For now, this was her moment. She'd seduce him during the day, and tonight she'd satisfy him to the point of making him forget all the others.

Enjoying the music, she let herself go, forgetting Leo, the hotel, and the show for a moment. All that mattered was the music and the moment. It was only after an hour that she realized Leo was no longer beside her.

Perhaps the crowd had separated them? She began to cross the crowd, up and down, without success. Leo seemed to have disappeared. But where had he gone? Nola could only have sent him back to the hotel and left her there.

She decided to take another look around the festival, to see if he'd gone to hear some other band. Yes, that had to be it. He couldn't have abandoned her, could he?

After several hours of fruitless searching, Jessica didn't know what to do. The festival was far too big and it wasn't as if she could go to security or the police. What could she tell them? The master of the harem I'm in had disappeared while we were on our date here organized by a Leprechaun for a TV show in the multiverse.

Even when she thought it, she found it hard to believe, and yet she was living it. The only hope she had left was that Nola would teleport them both at the end of the day. After that, it didn't answer the question of where he'd been. He couldn't have tried to run away, could he? He wasn't that stupid, was he?

Maybe something had happened to him. Maybe he'd had an accident. Maybe he'd fainted. Couldn't he be dead? Besides, what would happen if he died? Would he be replaced? Would the show end?

With these disturbing thoughts, Jessica disappeared.
