The Shame

(Hanna POV)

But how could I have done that? How could I have said that? But above all, how could I have thought that?

The pill was just supposed to save me stress and allow me to talk to him. But I would never have taken it if I'd known it would make me behave like this.

How could I have held his hand all day? Did that mean we were a couple now? Maybe we were getting engaged? Then there'd be a wedding and he'd kiss me. We'd undress and he'd caress me. I'll get pregnant and he'll tell me how beautiful I am. I'll have 2 children, a boy, and a girl. We'll fight over names, him wanting to call them Sinbad and Scheherazade, me preferring Gon and Mito. Eventually we settled on Daichi and Yuna. They'll call me Mom, and Leo will ask me if I don't want to do another, and I'll say yes.

_"NO!!!" _screamed Hanna as if to deny her thoughts.

"Are you all right, Hanna?" Daphne asked with a worried look on her face.

"Did your date go well?" Blanche asked.

"No! Yes? maybe? I don't know," replied Hanna.

_"You're going to have to choose sweetheart. It can't have gone badly or well," _said Blanche mockingly.

"Tell us what happened". said Abigail.

"In detail." added Eric.

Hanna looked around, seeing all eyes fixed on her, and panicked. It was too much. There were too many people and now they wanted her to talk about it. No way. Impossible. She couldn't.

It was too much emotion for Hanna, who chose this moment to faint.

(Daphne POV)

"Hanna!" Said Abigail as Hanna fainted in front of them.

So much for a surprise. The situation couldn't be that stressful, could it? Maybe something had happened yesterday that explained this behavior. Had they been having sex?

At the thought Daphne couldn't help but get excited. Damn transformation. Daphne didn't really have time to get any more annoyed or excited as her other transformation decided to choose this moment to activate.

"Haaaaah" Daphne fell to her knees.

"Your punishment, I suppose," said Eric.

Daphne took a while to catch her breath and stood up.

"Indeed, it happens any time. Yesterday it happened just before I went to bed," said Daphne.

"You should have seen the look on her face, it was hilarious. I wonder what it will be like in the weeks to come when she has several a day" says Blanche.

Daphne froze at this remark. Indeed, the number was supposed to increase every week until she agreed to become part of the harem. Of course, that would never happen, and she'd have to find a way to escape before then. She needed to think more carefully about her next plan this time.

"Do you think Hanna will wake up if we touch her hair?" asked Blanche.

"Blanche!" said Abigail.

"What's that? It's pure curiosity. This transformation was meant for me. I'm curious, that's all," Blanche defended herself.

"Well, keep your curiosity to yourself. We're not going to add any more stress to this kid's life" said Abigail, patting young Hanna's head tenderly.

"MMHHHH..." moaned Hanna, still ****.

"Abigail!" Said the others in unison.

_"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." _apologized Abigail.

Five minutes later, Hanna came to.

"What happened? Where's Leo?" she asked.

"To answer your questions in order, in 1 you passed out, in 2 Leo is with Jessica on their date." Says Eric.

"You scared us. Please don't do it again." Says Abigail.

"Why did you faint?" questioned Blanche.

"Blanche!" said Daphne.

"What? I'm just asking a question she doesn't have to answer if she doesn't want to." replied Blanche.

"I don't remember. I can't remember. I just remember Leo stroking my hair and then..." Hanna didn't finish her sentence. Her face was completely red.

She was probably feeling shame and stress, Daphne thought.

"And how did your date go yesterday?" asked Abigail.

_"I've, I've carried out the plan to the letter," _said Hanna.

'but what else?', thought all those present.

"We visited Shizuoka. I think he enjoyed it more. We ate a punnet of strawberries together. And we held hands the whole time," says Hanna, taking her face in her hands.

"Is that all? There's nothing to panic about," Blanche commented.

Daphne really wanted to slap the gynecologist's face. How could she not understand that Hanna had about as much romantic experience as a teaspoon? Hanna didn't even know how babies were made. She probably thought that holding hands and kissing were enough.

However, despite her thoughts, Daphne had no intention of asking Hanna to verify her hypotheses.

_"That's very good Hanna. You did your best. I'm sure Leo appreciated your efforts. And how was the evening otherwise?" _Abigail asked.

And the burning question. What had happened yesterday? Had Leo seen her naked? Had they kissed? They couldn't have... Daphne didn't dare think about it.

"He asked me a few questions, which I answered, then we watched anime as we fell asleep cuddling." Hanna said, bursting into tears.

"But that's great. It means you like each other." Says Abigail

_"But the one he likes is the other one." _Says Hanna, her eyes still full of tears.

_"He likes you. You're the one who had the idea for Japan. You're the one who planned your date in detail. He likes you, not her." _Said Abigail.

Daphne had to admit that Abigail had a certain talent for reassuring and motivating young Hanna. After all, Hanna was 6 years older than her.

"But I'm not sure I'm ready for that." Hanna said.

Abigail didn't seem to have an answer to that, and Blanche spoke up.

"None of us are, but we're doing our best." Said Blanche.
