Suddenly a woman walks towards me.

“Stop! She is not a thrall. She is a vampire hunter!” The woman screams. She throws Harmony away. I stare at the woman in surprise.

“My name is Natasha. I am the leader of a particular group called the Royal Bloods.” Natasha says. Cassie looks at Natasha and is frozen.

“The Natasha? Of the Royal Bloods? Aren’t you an evil group or something?” Cassie shakily says.

Natasha chuckles.

“That is propaganda from Mindaug, correct? RB and his group have been at war for decades. He seeks to exterminate Vampires and put Werewolves at the top of the chain. RB is a group that seeks to prevent this. We also are supporters of Dracula. Not the original, but the one who founded this establishment. To protect himself and his family he went under the name Nosferatu. That, Alex, is your father. Mindaug has been hunting you for a long time, seeking to kill you. His mercenaries of Hunters, like Harmony, are his henchmen.” Natasha says. Harmony growls and takes out her blade.

Harmony yells and attempts to slash Natasha, but Natasha was lightning quick, catching Harmony’s arm and disarming the hunter. Natasha swings Harmony to the floor with a thud. Harmony groans in pain. Natasha takes the blade and slashes Harmony’s throat. Blood oozes out.

“Hunters blood is laced with poison only lethal to vampires. If I didn’t stop you, you would have shed your immortal coil.” Natasha says, heavily breathing. She stands up and reaches out to me.

“Come with me, you two. I’ll take you to our lair and give you training.” Natasha says. Cassie seems concerned.

“But I’m a human. Don’t humans get killed near a vampire den?” Cassie asks.

“You want to be a human or a vampire?” I ask.

“I, uh, haven’t decided.” Cassie whimpers. She knows she would be killed either way.
