Vampire College

“Welcome to Fortmont, a prestigious school in the world known for the enrolments of mystery and inclusion.”

I read the sign at the entrance of your school. I am new student here, coming from Transylvania, seeking for bloodlines and education. Most vampires have names but usually depend on our situations. Since I am birthed, I go by the name Alex. Any vampire who was turned changed their name because their former selves were killed upon inheritance.

I walk into the dorms. Lots of doors leading into many students rooms.

“Hey, you new here? Welcome to the dorms. Do you have a name?” A voice behind me says. I turn around and see an elderly woman. She has red glasses but no eyes. I get startled.

“It’s okay, dear. I am a Seer. We see through a mystic eye, our normal eyes are redundant. My eye tells me you are Alex Epirus. Your room is 32E. Go down the corridor, take a right and climb two sets of stairs to the third floor. Your room will be at the end.” The Seer explains.

“You say a lot for a Seer. When do classes begin? Where can I get a bite?” I ask.

“Classes start in 2 days. Our establishment gives the students a few days to settle and organise themselves. You got here early.” The Seer says.

I walk to your room. I touch the handle and it slowly opens.
