I let her rest

I look at Cassie. Her peaceful body is at peace. I stroke her pale face with my hand and lick her wounds.

Suddenly a woman walks up to me and sits beside me.

“You still hungry for more, vampire boy?” The woman says. I turn around. A woman with short black hair and a red shirt is looking at me and Cassie.

“Uh, excuse me but who are you?” I ask.

“Harmony. I am your room neighbour. I also am the School Thrall.” Harmony responds.

“School… Thrall? That is totally new to me. I mean, I just joined and in the past day I met and fed on my roommate, ventured into a night club, fed on a beautiful girl and now I hear of an unlimited school blood bag?” I say, astonished.

“Hahaha, you’re adorbs! Every new vampire that joins gets a free Thrall. I was assigned to be your own personal blood bag.” Harmony laughs.

Her smile attracts my eyes. I look at her long, desirable neck. Her veins are bigger than normal. Her blood smells stronger. She is wearing a ring with a ruby infused into it. Harmony notices.

“Ah, you noticed my ring. This ring gives me my infinite blood supply. When I am dry, the ring activates my body to reproduce blood faster by 16 times the usual amount. In comparison, vampires recover at 10 times. The ring also makes my blood sweeter, my flesh tenderising, my veins bigger and my body more alluring.” Harmony says.

Cassie wakes up. She rubs her head and neck.

“Ugh, that was a trip!” Cassie murmurs.

“Hello Cassie. I am Harmony, Alex’s personal thrall.” Harmony introduces. Cassie looks at Harmony dazed and confused.

“Thrall?” Cassie queries.

“Thralls are basically blood farms for vampires.” I answer. Cassie nods slowly.

“Alex, am I a vampire?” Cassie asks.

I shake my head left and right.

“No, I let you rest. I figure having a vanilla human as a friend would be worth it.” I say.

“Care for a feeding, master Alex?” Harmony asks, stretching her fine, juicy neck.
