is this appropriate talk for class?

A new voice piped in. "Harmony, Lysette? Do you really think that that kind of talk is appropriate for class?"

Harmony and the other girl jumped in their seats. "Um, I guess not. Sorry Willow."

"I'm afraid sorry isn't quite good enough. Congratulations, you're the first students I assigned detention too. I'll see you back her after school. You can finish up the work you didn't do while you were... gossiping."

"But, but...."

Willow had overheard the two girls conversing and decided she needed to step in.

Buffy had confided in her that she planned on seducing Xander and frankly Buffy didn't need any more competition.

Not that they were truly competition but they would be a distraction. Willow knew Xander had had a thing for Buffy for ages now een. But in the talk Buffy had confideded that Joyce wasn't giving up on her flirtations either.

After all, a guy can't date both a mother and a daughter was a rule, and rules just did not apply to men like Xander. Meanwhile the only reason Cordelia had broken it off with Xander was because the girl who usually made the rules in her relationships hadn't known what to do with that power. Once she realized what she'd lost Willow was sure she'd come crawling back

And though she had no doubt that Xander could totally handle a harem if he wanted, poor underconfident Xander probably wouldn' feel that way.

So in Willow's mind that meant no distractions till Buffy
