Finally ready to leave, you open the door to your home and step confidently into the village outside.

It's night, and the dark blue sky hangs over the village, empty except for the glow of the full moon. You take a moment to admire the full moon's beauty. As you recall, the moon is often a symbol of great importance in your local village's religion. The priests of the church emphasize the various phases and link them to the ordained activities of the villagers, with none more important the full moon.

Looking around, you see the peaceful panorama of the surrounding village scenery. There are a few other homes nearby, including the home of your childhood friend Emma's family. To the right is church where most of the common religious activity occurs, and to the left is the village proper, sporting a few shops and road leading to the sprawling agricultural fields.

In the center distance, perched atop the hills of the valley, lies the village temple.
