Talking regrets

I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of Ross retching and throwing up in the bathroom. He was still on the bathroom floor in the morning. The bathroom smelled awful and I didn’t want to use it until it was cleaned. I was hungover from the late night tequila shots. If I kept smelling the puke, I was going to throw up myself. I talked to Courtney and she let me use their bathroom to get ready for the day.

Zach and Courtney left to enjoy the resort. I think they were going out on a boat. Katy invited me to join her and Nick since Ross was still asleep.

“I’m detached. I assume it’s about your time with Ross last night.” I said, waiting for the horror story.

“You don’t have to listen Nick if you don’t want to,” Katy said. “So last night was the worst sex I’ve ever had. I should’ve known since he was so drunk. I should’ve called it off and waited until he passed out but I decided to go with it. First of all his mouth tasted awful and his kissing was so sloppy. I think about it. If I join the group date without my husband, it’s almost like I’m cheating on him because the partner swapping isn’t in play anymore. But Ross was being an alcoholic asshole, and I didn’t want to hang out with him. At the moment, I didn’t care what he thought. I said, “I want to do the group date with y’all. He can have that puke covered room. I’ll sleep on the couch.”

Katy said, “I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this. We all really love you, especially the guys, but Ross has been a fuckhead this whole trip. He probably wouldn’t be so bad if he didn’t drink so much.”

Later in the afternoon, the guys talked to Ross when he woke up. I had already moved all my stuff out of the room. I avoided speaking with Ross. I didn’t want to scream at him in front of everyone.

He got the hint, and left the villa, while we all got ready for the night out. I wore my littlest black dress, and made sure I looked fricking hot. I was ready to take my mind off this new problem for the night.
