Lynn Tracks Her Down

As Kara drove the motorbike through the empty streets, Mara could feel herself begin to relax. For now, at least they were out of the Succubi's reach. The carcasses of empty cars lined the edges of the road as their occupants had either fled or joined the demonic horde. Mara tried not to think about what would have become of her if Kara had not arrived in time.

Mara knew something wasn't right as they started to slow down, looking up from Kara's shoulder she spied a myriad of cars scattered across the road. A barely audible sigh fell from Kara's exasperated lips as she slowly manoeuvred the bike around them, making a beeline for the entrance of the tunnel that sat behind the barricade of cars.

As the bike slowly edged through the throng of vehicles Mara became increasingly worried that Lynn would find them. After a few tense minutes, the bike emerged a few feet from the entrance. Feeling her friend's anxiety, Kara switched on the beam and peered forward. Unable to see any encroaching cars leering from the tunnel itself she revved the engine before the bike leapt into action.

Nearing the entrance Mara felt a sudden gust of wind as the bike swerved to one side, glancing up she noted that Kara was gone before reaching for the handlebars and bringing the bike to a stop. Mara leapt off the bike as a red helmet slammed into the ground beside her, in one swift motion she looked up in time to see Lynn leering down at her.

Kara's terrified screams were cut short as Lynn quickly smothered them with a lecherous kiss. Mara could only watch as her friend was held closer to the Succubi's crimson figure as they flew out of sight.

Mara barely stifled a cry as she briefly removed the helmet to wipe a tear from her eye and pondered her next move.
