What's next?
Paige Has A Decision To Make
“So, where are you planning to take my Dad on a date?” Stella asks Becca.
“Fuuuuuck~”
“Well, since I can’t really go anywhere with all these reporters following me everywhere, I was thinking we could just have an intimate dinner at my place.” Becca answers. “Would that be alright?” She then asks you.
“Oh~ Gawd… Hngggh”
“That sounds great, Becca. I’d love to have dinner with you.” You reply, getting her to give you a sweet smile in response.
“Mmmhnngaah~”
“Wait, but wouldn’t those reporters be camping out where you live though?” Cassie asks.
“My building has security that will take care of that.” Becca answers Cassie. “I also have a private elevator that goes directly to my apartment. It’s probably the perfect place to have a date under the circumstances.” Becca adds on.
“Aaah~”
“Just bring him back to us in one piece, okay?” Stella jokingly tells Becca.
“No promises.” Becca jokingly replies right back, and the two of them chuckle at their shared humor. Meanwhile, you can’t help but pause what you’re doing in worry of what Becca might actually try to do.
“Haa… haaa… haa…”
“You alright there, Paige?” Cassie finally asks Paige, who has been moaning non-stop since you started massaging her feet after you were done with Becca’s.
“Mhmm. Yeah. Perfect-aah~” Paige answers, just as you start massaging her feet again, making her moan once more.
“It sure sounds more than perfect.” Stella teases her.
“Yeah, well, this was the plan, right? If you actually said yes when I asked you, these would be moans of pain instead.” Paige tries to tease back.
“Oh? So you’re admitting these are moans of…” Stella starts to say, before getting her lips close to Paige’s ear and sultrily whispers, “pleasure?”
“Nnnggg-aaah~”
“Stop. Haa…” Paige mutters in between moans. She stares deep into your eyes, her cheeks getting flushed as you focus on her toes, and having your fingers massaging the spaces in between them.
*SLAM*
“What up, bitches!” Viv shouts as she enters your apartment as loudly as possible.
Paige suddenly clenches her toes and traps your index finger in between her big toe and index toe, and your middle finger in between her index toe and middle toe. She starts squeezing your fingers tight with her toes, as she bites her lower lip trying to contain herself. You can see her clenching her fists, digging her nails deep into the cushions of the couch. All her efforts are in vain though, as you notice she shudders a bit as she closes her eyes before rolling her head back.
That was definitely…
“¡Ay, Vivian! ¡Vas a meter a Jay en problemas con los O'Brien!” Tanya shouts behind Viv, simultaneous with Paige’s next shout.
“STOP!” Paige suddenly shouts, taking everyone by surprise, and forcefully kicking away your hand off her foot.
“Paige!” Stella reacts in shock.
“Woah! What’s going on?” Brooke suddenly asks in shock as well, after making her way inside with Tanya and Viv.
“Are you alright, Paige?” Becca asks her, as Paige once again breathes heavily. Although, if her earlier breathing was more labored and from exhaustion, this one’s undeniably more…
“Did you… um…?” Stella starts to ask the obvious, before catching herself as she realizes it might cause Paige more embarrassment.
Paige immediately stands up and shouts, “I have to go!”, before trying to walk out of the apartment in a hurry. Stella and Cassie shout after her, but it’s Becca who ultimately gets her to stop from leaving by simply placing a hand on Paige’s shoulder after catching up to her.
“Where are the O’Briens?” Tanya asks, not sure what’s going on either.
“It’s alright, Paige. You are among friends, and you have nothing to be embarrassed about.” Becca assures her. “I, too, couldn’t contain myself earlier.” Becca adds, giving Paige’s shoulder a squeeze to further comfort her.
“What’s happening?” Viv asks in confusion.
“It’s not just earlier, Becca! I can’t contain myself around him! Period! Not after last night!” Paige unintentionally (based on how she reacts after her outburst at least) admits to Becca.
“Last night!?” Stella and Cassie react in confusion, while looking at you for answers.
“Oh~ That’s what’s happening.” Viv says in realization, before getting an awkward look on her face.
“You know what’s happening!?” Stella, Cassie, Tanya, and Brooke simultaneously ask Viv in shock.
“What happened last night, Paige?” Becca asks her calmly, undercutting the volume of everyone else, and inadvertently making them realize they were shouting.
“I… We… uh~” Paige mutters in panic, then looks at you as well to see if you can back her up.
“I can tell her, Paige; but you wanted to tell her yourself so I won’t say it unless you say so.” You tell her.
“Tell her ‘what’?” Stella asks you.
“Do you need us to go? Maybe this’ll be easier for Paige if all of us aren’t here?” Brooke asks in consideration of Paige’s situation.
“No! No. It’s fine. Mr. Craig’s right. I asked for this.” Paige answers Brooke. Paige then takes a deep breath and faces Becca, looking her in the eyes, before immediately glancing away in panic. Becca places her hand on Paige’s shoulder again to try and calm her, squeezing it once more to assure her that she has nothing to worry about.
“You can tell her, Paige. Trust me.” Viv assures her as well.
“I-I joined… I joined their play last night at the Red Rum.” Paige finally admits, looking at Becca when she does, but looking away immediately after finishing her sentence. Stella, Cassie, Tanya, and Brooke let out ‘~Ooh’s’ of surprise, but seemingly amused at the news.
“I’m so sorry, Becca. I wasn’t thinking! They were already in the middle of it, and Mercy was so calm and nonchalant about it, and the girls started inviting me to join, and I saw Mr. Craig’s… well… I’m so sorry, Becca! I’m your assistant and that shouldn’t have happened! I was being completely unprofessional! If you don’t want me as your assistant anymore, I completely—” Paige starts to vent out guiltily, before Becca finally gets her to pause with another shoulder squeeze.
“When you say you ‘joined’, does that mean you had sex with him?” Becca asks her, still as calm as earlier. You notice Tanya and Brooke raise their eyebrows while looking at you at that question.
“No! Not like that! I-I was just a spectator! I swear. Ask Mercy, or Viv, or Mr. Craig! We didn’t do anything together.” Paige answers her, to a playful ‘Boo’ from Stella behind you, which makes you turn around to tell her to stop, as it might embarrass Paige further.
“Would you like to?” Becca then shockingly asks Paige, who immediately reddens in embarrassment again, and Viv starts laughing boisterously as she practically predicted that reaction last night. Brooke, thankfully, gets her to stop by lightly elbowing her on the side.
“What?” Paige asks, even though she fully understood the question.
“Would you like to have sex with Jay?” Becca asks again, only more specific this time.
…
“I-... Becca, I can’t. That’s—” Paige starts to say.
“‘Can’t’ and ‘don’t’ are two different answers, Paige; because you can if you want to.” Becca tells her. “I won’t stop you.” Becca adds to assure her.
“Becca, that’s not…” Paige starts to say, before glancing past Becca to look towards you for a moment.
“You were there when Viv had her outburst at Brooke’s gym.” Becca starts saying, and you can see Brooke look embarrassed at the memory. “That came about because I told Viv that I wanted to pursue something with Jay as well. It would be hypocritical of me now to stop you from pursuing something with him as well.” Becca assures her.
“You won’t have problems with us stopping you either if that’s another concern you’re having.” Tanya adds.
“Stella’s practically been pimping you out since you guys reconnected.” Cassie half-jokingly adds, getting a playful elbow to the side from Stella for throwing her under the bus.
“I’m pretty sure she knows how open we are with Jay dating outside of our relationship.” Viv chimes in.
“I’m positive about that as well.” Becca adds. “So whatever it is that’s holding you back, Paige; I hope you know that you can tell it to all of us in confidence.” Becca assures her.
“I heard shouting! What’s happening?” Maddy asks from the doorway, looking like she ran through the hall to get back to your apartment.
“Madeleine!” You hear Connor shout after Maddy.
“Just give me a few minutes, Dad! Please!” Maddy tells him, just as he catches up to her, and you can see him through your doorway also.
“Good evening, Sergeant O’Brien.” Becca greets him from where she’s standing, already aware to call him by his rank instead of ‘mister’ as an honorific. “Maddy’s told us a lot about you.” She adds with a polite smile.
“All bad things, I’m sure.” Connor replies to Maddy’s annoyance.
“On the contrary, Maddy’s been very positive about your parenting.” Becca replies, to the obvious shock of Connor, that you can see even from a distance. “She said it’s why she’s been eager to find opportunities to be more independent. To show you and her mother how much you’ve prepared her for adulthood.” Becca adds. You’re not sure if Maddy actually told that to Becca, or if Becca’s spinning Maddy’s words to sound more complimentary, but Connor seems to be taken aback by it.
“Becca! I told you that in confidence!” Maddy shouts, practically confirming that she actually did tell that to Becca.
“I’m sure how she worded that wasn’t as complimentary.” Connor says, but unable to hide his amusement. “I’m guessing these are all the girls you told us about, Maddy?” Connor turns to Maddy, who nods, before introducing everyone Connor hasn’t met yet. Becca gives an acknowledging nod, Paige an awkward hand wave; while Brooke, Viv and Tanya approach Connor to give him a handshake, before going in to hug Maddy as a group. After the four break away from the hug, Connor turns to Maddy again.
“Five minutes.” Connor tells Maddy with finality, before giving a nod to everyone in the room as a way to say goodbye, then walking away towards his parents’ apartment. As soon as Connor leaves, Maddy rushes into the apartment and gives Becca a hug.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t here to help out with your dad, Becca.” Maddy tells her, as she tightens her hug.
“It’s alright, Maddy. My father’s meddling is not your responsibility.” Becca tells her sincerely. “I’m actually pleased that at least one of you got to avoid having to worry about that at all.” Becca adds, causing Maddy to break away from their hug.
“What do you mean!? I was pulling my hair out in worry!” Maddy retorts, getting appreciative chuckles and smiles from everyone.
…
“Sorry, I’m pretty sure I interrupted something.” Maddy says in realization, after separating from Becca.
Maddy’s statement causes everyone to look back at Paige. You’re sure she can feel the heat of the spotlight that eight sets of eyes can cause, as you see her starting to sweat again.
“This is a lot of pressure.” Paige practically sighs in her admission.
“Why? What’s a lot of pressure?” Maddy asks.
“We’re basically asking Paige if she wants to start dating my Dad.” Stella sums up.
“That wasn’t the question though!” Paige retorts, and you can see her start to panic once more, and understandably so. You finally take action and get in between Becca and Paige, and take Paige’s hands in yours.
“Paige.” You address her, making her stare into your eyes. She’s beginning to calm, but you can definitely see there’s still anxiety in her eyes. “Everyone here knows what our relationship is like and accepts it. Becca even said she’s fine with it if this is something you want to pursue also. I know there are complications there with your professional relationship, but we’ll find a way to make that work—” You start assuring her, and she tries to stop you with a “Mr. Craig, I—”, but you push through and say, “We promise, Paige. You can just say it. You don’t have to panic around Becca. I know how confident you really are. So don’t let Becca’s reputation stop you from sharing your feelings.”
“Would you like to go on a date with me, Paige? Would that be something you want?” You ask her sincerely, although with a hint of teasing as you are calling back to how she asked you about wanting her to flirt with you back at Viv’s restaurant.
“Ho-honestly…” Paige finally starts to answer.
...
“No.”
