III A brief history lesson.

The city of Rasheul started out as a small outpost for adventurers wishing to challenge Rasheul’s Labyrinth. With time this small settlement grew and grew as the adventurers, laden with the riches gained from Rasheul’s Labyrinth settled down and started a family.

Due to this nature. Rasheul always had a large influx of combatant oriented visitors and when these weren’t busy exploring Rasheul’s Labyrinth some other entertainment naturally had to be found. Among these, fighting matches and small tournaments proved to be especially popular.

The very first Rasheul Great **** Tournament (back then simply called the Rasheul Great Tournament) was held in the year GI 601, celebrating Rasheul's 100th anniversary. Intended, as a one time event, the tournament saw monumental success and it was quickly decided to hold the tournament every four years. After the fifth tournament, this was shortened to two years and after the tenth to one year.

However, while the amount of combatants applying for the tournament steadily increased, the public interest was waning. As such by the 20th tournament, tournament officials came up with the now infamous **** rule.

This sparked a renewed enthusiasm for a few years, before interest was once again fading. And eventually, the 30th tournament in the year 648 was the last regular tournament.

The next half a century is considered the dark age for the Rasheul Great **** Tournament. A few irregular tournaments did take place over the decades but it was the year GI 701, the 200 year anniversary of Rasheul when the tournament would finally return to its former glory.

And the renaissance started with one simple rule change: All participants where required to have a certain degree of beauty.

From that point onwards, the tournament managed to grow and grow in size perpendicular to its ever increasing beauty standards.

Many special rules where considered over the years. (Like Tournament 69th's infamous cum battles or 86th's double matches) but ultimately the tournament settled on it’s tried and true rules.

Today, the **** Tournament Association Rasheul holds preliminaries in all of the continents major cities. Each year tens of thousands of applicants start their journey to greatness.
