A smile quickly spreads across Miranda's face as she reads the slip. "Tom." She announces, her smile spreading to him too as she returns the hat to the table. For a moment Nicole thinks she's going to dare Tom to kiss another guy, that would be pretty funny and maybe even embarrass the macho Tom into leaving. While Nicole was busy deciphering Miranda's intentions Tom walked his way around the table, past John's glaring eyes, to Nicole.
