A Gang

"Who?" He asked excitedly.

"That gas grenade in there belongs to a very specific gang." Cat explained, even though it was a total lie, "So, shall we go ask them some questions?"

"I like the sound of that."

"Follow me." Cat said as she ran to the edge of the building and jumped off, swinging away.

After some time she and Spider-Man landed on a building overlooking a construction site.

"Here we are." Cat said, gesturing at the site, "This is a front for them. The boss should be in his office. You go question him and I'll deal with his goons."

"Sounds like a plan." Spider-Man said, before swinging off the roof and stealthily making his way towards the small manager's office at the back of the site. Cat stretched and smiled to herself. This was going well. Then, she jumped off the building and made her way around the perimeter of the site.

Spider-Man snuck into the office, avoiding being seen. He then webbed the door, locking it behind him.

Click. The sound of a gun cocking echoed in the room.

"Don't move!" A deep male voice boomed. Spider-Man slowly raised his hands, "What are you doin' 'ere Spider-Man?"

"Can't a hero come visit the hardworking public?" He joked, slowly turning his head. He saw the gun, held extended from the body, two handed.

"I said don't move!" The voice boomed again.

"Okay, okay. I heard you. Don't. Move." And with those words he jumped and spun around, firing his webbing.

Bang!

The bullet shot through the wall of the office just before the gun got yanked from the boss's hands and stuck to the wall, held there by Spider-Man's webbing. Spider-Man landed on the ground and extended his hands, mimicking the pose the boss had made with the gun, except extending his wrist to point at him instead of a gun.

"Don't move!" Spider-Man said.

"What do you want? I ain't done nofin'." The boss said, raising his hands.

"Where's Mary Jane Watson?"

"Who?"

"Don't lie. Your grenade was found at the site of an abduction of a woman named Mary Jane Watson. Now, where is she?"

"I don't know what you're talkin' about." The boss said, genuinely confused. The door to the office shook as someone rammed it from outside. Spider-Man shot some more webbing, pinning the boss to the wall, "Hey!"

"Last chance, where is she?" Spider-Man asked, jumping onto the desk and looking directly into the man's eyes. The door continued to shake as it was rammed.

"I swear, okay? I don't know no Mary Jane's. I'm not lyin', I'm tellin' you the truth."

"Then why was your grenade at the scene?"

"I don't know! Please, youse gotta believe me!" The boss begged. Suddenly the window broke and the two men turned to see a figure standing outside.

"Time to go Spider!" Cat said from outside the window. Spider-Man looked back at the boss, then at Cat, then at the door. Then, he jumped out the window and followed Cat away.
