A pokemart clerk

The two of you continue along the path until you see a man waiting nearby who waves you over as soon as he notices you approaching. “Over here you two, I’ve got some free samples of supplies from the pokemart for new trainers” he says cheerfully pulling out two bags of potions and handing them over to you and Amber. You thank him and start to continue down the path but he stops you again immediately, “Hold on a second! It’s too dangerous to leave town without these.” He pulls out a bag filled to the brim with condoms and hands you a handful. Then he turns to Amber and gives her a handful as well, but does a quick double take and gives her a second handful after looking at her again.

You two are left completely speechless by the gifts. Amber turns red in embarrassment and starts to object but never comes around to getting her point across. You try to hand them back to the clerk, “Oh, I don’t need any more of these, I already have some packed in my bag but thanks anyways” you say. Amber’s mouth opens wide in surprise as she had always taken you for the innocent one and hadn’t expected you to be prepared for stuff like that.

The clerk pushes your hand away and rejects the return, “Young trainers should always be prepared for the worst, you never know when you might need them so why don’t you hold onto them” he says waving the two of you away and goes back to doing whatever he was doing before.

As you and Amber continue up the route she stares at the bunch of condoms she was given and is almost completely silent. You try to break the silence by offering to take some or suggest she put them in her bag, “Hey, um it’s better if you put those away so you don’t lose any. If you want I can take some, since you got a lot” you say turning to her.

She mumbles something nearly incoherent but you were only able to make out “am I really going to need all there?” At the end of her sentence. She slides her satchel to her frontside and opens up one of the smaller compartments putting one handful of condoms inside. She looks at you and reaches her other hand out to give you the other handful, “There’s no way I need that many condoms, I’d never become a pokemon master if I got fucked that many times” she says confidently. “Plus my bag can’t even hold that much stuff so I’d rather not have too many useless items taking up space you take them” she continues.

You take your backpack off and begin to put them in a safe compartment. You place your bag on the ground and suddenly, as soon as you open your bag a group of Rattata comes rushing for it.

Amber reacts quickly, she grabs her pokeball and releases her pokemon Charmander, “Alright this is what I’ve been waiting for, finally a battle! Lets go Charmander” she cheers enthusiasticly. You start to reach for your own pokeball and Amber stops you, “Don’t worry I’ve got this Rory” she reassures before yelling “Charmander use scratch!”

You decide it might be alright for Amber to handle it considering they’re just Rattata.
