Amber accepts your offer

As much as she wants to take on the challenge if being a trainer all by herself, Amber recognizes the fundamental qualities she lacks and agrees to let you travel with her so that she can push herself to improve with the ability to rely on you for help and support.

After thinking it over Amber says, “Well if you think it’d be good for the both of us then I guess we could try it” She says a bit relieved. While she may have a pokemon, she has no idea where her journey might take her. She thinks to herself, ‘It wont be for long, just till we’re both good enough trainers. Maybe it’s for the best.’

The two of you make your way out the lab and past the houses on your way over to route 1. Amber raises her arm forward and points ahead, “Are you ready Rory!” She exclaims grinning from ear to ear as she has been waiting for her entire life.

You two take a step forward but are interupted by a shout, “WAIT!” the voice echoes as you turn and see one of Oak’s lab assistants running up the road towards you. As he nears he pulls out a bag and says, “Sorry about that, the professor forgot to give you these” he hands the two of your own set of pokeballs for catching more pokemon throughout your journey. “Oh, and you two are working to becoming pokemon masters right?” He asks. You nod slowly and Amber nods with excitement. He continues, “Great then I suggest heading towards the gym in Pewter city as the Viridian gym has been closed for some time now.” You pull out your map and Amber leans in to see as well. As she moves closer you feel your heart rate go crazy as you can feel the warmth her body gives off. The assistant turns away and says “Well that’s all the professor had for me so you two stay safe out there, especially you little lady.” He walks back down the road towards the lab.

You tell Amber, “It says Pewter city is a little ways north of here past the Viridian forrest, so it sounds like a good place to start”

“Sounds like a good plan to me!” Amber says jumping forward and likely bot caring which direction we were heading as long as she was able to grow as a trainer.

The two of you walk down the path towards the next city not knowing what the future had in store for you yet.

But then suddenly…
