Everyone, no matter how high or low they were in society, even the wanted criminals, pressed Yes.

There was another flash of light as that screen vanished

Another screen asked them

Will individual sections be allowed?
Yes / No

You look at it and frown. “I think it means do we wish to be able to have our own private areas, such as homes and shops, or do we wish to have it all controlled by the group in common as a single communal area.”

They all selected for individual areas.

A map appeared and showed the entire town, even down to the sewers.

People denoted which areas belonged to them, and they all agreed afterwards.

There was another flash and things were locked in. Those who were homeless or living with others could claim areas as the town expanded.

The basics stats for the town could be viewed and the town as a whole had a section for the town’s Fame.
