Tuesday - More of the same

That night and the next day are a blur. You wake up in Nadia's arms. A new thing, to be sure. Once at work, you don't see Maria or Alex - something about an off-site training session. You end up working on a few things but are abnormally bored. You end up leaving a few minutes early to head to the next stop of the day, the Rice Room.

Uncle Ivan says Ana is still sick, so you're stuck on the bar again. You send a few texts to the girls: Nadia, Karina, and Mia. Wishing them well. You see a few notifications from the app, but you brush them aside for now. No point checking it every moment when you're not seeing anyone.

It feels strange to be back in the daily grind of working nonstop. You haven't seen the girls at all since Sunday, and it is not a pleasant thing.

During one of your breaks, you decide to check on Ana. You send her a text.

Lev: Playing hooky?

A few minutes later, she responds.

Ana: I wish... think I have a virus.

Lev: Sorry to hear that... how are you feeling?

Ana: Fever, headaches... nothing pleasant

Lev: Well, get some rest. Can I bring you anything?

Ana: No, but thanks for covering for me

Lev: Anytime

You finish out the evening and head home.
