Chapter 267 by SilverSpectre006 SilverSpectre006

What's next?

We are not Monsters!

"Apply some pressure there, no a little lower. You have to push harder-"

"I'm trying, she's bleeding all over and I'm scared!" Janette snapped, flinching and pressing her palms where she was instructed. Zimi kept quiet and nodded, she may not recognize this woman's bond with her niece but she admired the bravery of her staying by her side. As it was, Syri looked like a work of horror. Her midsection was bathed in a bright red, and the gaps where she was stabbed brutally in now appeared like dark circles at her side.

Zimi hesitated as sweat began to drip from her brow, this was one cat girl out of a dozen who are injured. Out of all the girls in their camp, if there was one girl she prayed the hardest for her safety it would be Syri. Now here she is, bleeding badly on the ground while the other wounded girls watched in silence. They were just as scared, with Janette seeming flustered and mumbling to herself as she pushed hard.

The Nekomata women squeaked and jumped back, but Zimi ignored them. Must have caught sight of the mess Syri was in. Right now, she needed a way to cauterize the wound, force the puncture marks to clot in order to save her life. However, she admitted Syri was beginning to look pale as seconds slipped by.

"Damn it." Zimi muttered, struggling to light a small fire beside them. "Not like this. Cyri wouldn't have it!"

Success! She felt a slight moment of satisfaction as a spark managed to ignite the dry wood and begin to expand in its flames. A light sizzle and crack as the fire began to rise at a foots length, contained by the surrounding smooth pebbles gathered underneath.

"Now to hover this kitchen knife over the fire, get it nice and hot."

"Is that my cooking knife?" Janette asked.

"Hush, I needed a metal instrument and this will suffice." She heard her gasp, drawing Zimi's attention behind her to find Raz staring at the poor girl laying faint before them.

"Don't!" Janette cried out as Raz lifted his hand.

Perdilius groaned under the pressure, refusing to reduce the crushing strength around Felix's hands. One eye of Perdilius remained exposed between Felix's legs, glaring furiously at the farm boy as both continued to struggle under each other. One of them has to give, or both will suffer more.

Na'Vi peaked through the hole beside her locked door, noting its size before pressing her back against it. Her two tails slipped through easily, now feeling along the door's surface before touching the floor. Something metallic rattled gently as she scooped it from the ground and held it with both tails.

With a hoarse cry, Perdilius slammed Felix onto the ground hoping to hit his head. Felix groaned but shook his head, ignoring the pain throbbing through his entire backside and forcing his legs to endure more pressure in return. Pulling one foot back, he met Perdilius with a fierce kick to the head followed quickly by repeated blows. The young man struggled and fought back the only way he could, landing his foot across his forehead, cheek and nose until one scrape of his heel managed to cut a wound over Perdilius' right brow.

In response, his opponent lifted him effortlessly before slamming him back down, and then into the wall, bouncing Felix like a child would play with his ball, all the while between blows Felix would react with another hard kick to his head. Neither noticed when one cell door was unlocked and opened up quickly before Na'Vi hurried down the hall and pounced along the half Giant's back, sinking her fangs into his shoulder.

Perdilius flinched and pushed back, instinctively dropping Felix as he reacted to the attack. Felix fell on his back, gasping and coughing as his hands felt like mashed potatoes on fire. They were a bright red tone in comparison to his tanned light brown complexion and blood was running down his palms where his claws cut through. His entire frame ached as the adrenaline began to wear off, he began to realize he was drawing deep breaths from exhaustion as his hair had become drenched in sweat.

Na'Vi was crawling around Perdilius' body, biting and clawing wherever she could. He tried to grab her but with her natural agility she managed to evade his clumsy attempts. It only took one move in the wrong direction for Perdilius to get lucky and grab Na'Vi by her tails. Na'Vi was then thrown across the room letting out a scream of pain as her body slammed into the wall.

Perdilius let out a frustrated sigh. His body felt wet from most corners, he could see he was littered with claw marks and was bleeding lightly from most wounds. Still, he brushed the sweat from his red face and ran his hand along the smooth surface of his shiny head, readjusting his composer as he cleared his throat.

"A slight oversight, you would have been wiser to flee."

"Don't!" Na'Vi barked out as her sharp golden eyes fixated on him. "Don't touch him!"

"What, this boy here? You're willing to lay your life on the line for him? He's the one who took your beloved from you, is he not? Surely you felt some form of pleasure from his state." Perdilius chuckled.

"Not like this." Na'Vi answered, moving to face him with her claws expelled, standing between him and Felix. "I may loathe him, but I do not wish for his demise. And I certainly feel a stronger hatred toward you."

Perdilius lifted his brow, crossing his arms and glancing between her and the boy she was protecting. "Why him, he's no mate of yours. He's nothing! Why not kill him now in revenge, it's what your kind-"

"We are not MONSTERS!!!" Na'Vi shouted at the top of her lungs, gasping for breath. "Not like that! Not like you!"

That act alone pushed Perdilius in his core, his eyes growing narrow as the corner of his lip twitched. Something snapped him out of his state as he glanced back at Felix, observing his fallen and weakened state.

"He's no threat anymore." Perdilius wondered, thinking loudly as his eyes approached the young cat girl. "And neither are you. I am wasting my time."

With that, he spun around and walked away. He continued down the hall in a relaxed state, almost insulting them to a point as he pushed open the metal door at the end leading to the stairway upwards. Bending down to accommodate for his increased size, he stepped through and closed the door behind him, leaving Na'Vi, Felix and Reta alone.

Raz raised his hand slowly, ignoring the woman's plead as he concentrated on his task at hand. Syri began to stir gently as the blood surrounding her chest and thighs suddenly began to pool together in the air, miraculously leaving her spotless and exposing the puncture marks below her ribs. Janette shot up and grabbed Raz by his arm, banging her fist on his shoulder and pleading for him to stop. To her shock, Zimi dropped the knife and pulled her from Raz, holding her by the waist as Janette pleaded and thrashed to get free.

"Please don't hurt her!" She began to weep, tears flowing down her face as Raz remained focused with his eyes on Syri.

The blood had formed into a larger red mass floating abover her, it swayed and dipped as if teasing the idea of breaking off and splashing back on her body. Raz was struggling, clapping his hands together and forming a sign with his fingers. In response, pieces of the blood tore away in tiny droplets floating around like bubbles of blood, but Janette noticed something was off in its contents.

"Wh-what's happening?" She asked, watching each blood bubble drift away towards the fire before burning away. What was he doing to her, with one hand he held focus of the blood pool, with the other he aimed it over her wound as somehow no more blood seeped from the three punctures on her side.

Raz groaned hard, he was fighting to handle this. Zimi gasped as his own veins throbbed and surfaced to his skin, he held his breath and slowly his veins slipped back under his now reddened skin. He was sweating profusely, suddenly he turned and stared at the two.

"KNIFE! NOW!!" He screamed, forcing Zimi to react as she ran toward the fire. She yelped as her tail touched the flame by mistake, pulling back by instinct when Janette pushed in and reached into the fire. She yelped but kept strong as her fingers gripped the handle of the knife which Zimi accidentally let drop inside, pulling back and returning to them.

Raz held his hand out for her to stop as blood once again began to drip from her wound. Frustrated, Raz directed the pool of blood back into her side as the girls watched as carefully small handfuls of blood would enter through the wound each at a time. Once he slipped the blood back into her body, Janette took his nod and moved in. With trembling hands, she inhaled deep and pressed the red hot blade along the first gaping hole for a few seconds until Zimi shouted for her to pull away. She did so and repeated the action for the other two holes before Raz finally pulled away, falling to his knees and coughing loudly. Zimi jumped back as he spat out blood, with Janette staring at Syri as the color in her body shifted from a pale tone to her natural peachy skin. Her chest began to rise in slow strokes, she was breathing again. Looking back, she saw Raz spitting blood and noticed the popped blood vessels along his face and arms.

"You saved her, even if it would kill you." She wasn't sure how to say thanks, this man tried to kill them yesterday. No, he tried to capture them.

Raz shook his head, clearing his throat as blood gradually dripped from his nose. Looking ahead, he sighed and hung his head as if he became upset with something. At first Janette perceived it to be the fighting that was occurring out there, with so many Monster Girls fighting each other at the grounds of the tower. However when she turned to face it she was met with Dimyri, who looked shocked and speechless, staring at them with several collars slipping from her hand. Janette smiled and held Syri's paw, nodding toward her sister regarding her state. Dimyri smiled partially, but she was still taken aback by what she had witnessed.

"Why?" She asked him.

Raz shrugged and looked away. "I told you I'm not a killer, my father wants you alive."

"And what do you want?" She asked.

For this, he had no answer.
