Pollen? Really?

The shop owner scrabbled backwards, before wincing painfully and aborting his action. He glanced up at the three menacing monsters, and his flabby, graying chin began to quiver slightly.

"Talk... sure... sure... I can totally do that," He man began to babble. "I'm Joss... That's my name, of course, you weren't asking that, but you know, I don't exactly know where to start because you just said talk, and like I'm talking about whatever's on my mind which is really hoping right now that you're not going to oh god you're not going smash my other leg are you because that would really hurt, I mean a lot more than..."

"STOP TALKING!" Ketsueki shouted. She took a deep breath before continuing, wiping a few drops of blood off of her tattoo. If anyone had bothered to look they would have seen the slight wounds already closing, and she was pretty sure the little idiot at their feet was looking. "Now, listen carefully. I want, a very simple answer, nod yes if you understand that."

The man opened his mouth to speak before noticing the intent look on Sans face, and the small curling vine that danced across her fingertips. He swallowed, then nodded.

"See, progress already. And here I was thinking that you weren't going to talk. So, your special product, I assume is what's causing all of the girls to go crazy... I also assume that you have it on you, and that you're looking for a shot to throw it on us and DON'T MOVE THAT HAND, or do I have to break another bone or twenty seven?"

He nodded, before seeming to realize what he had just nodded his head to, he then shook it rapidly.

Sans placed a hand on her hip, looking around and noticing several guardsmen approaching them. With such a manner of nonchalance, she waved her hand in a manner of dismissal, making a large tree on the side topple over before sprouting its roots to form a makeshift fence, blocking their path. Xitlaly widened her eyes, impressed at the display of power. So this is what Dryads can do, amazing!

Her attention focused back towards the amateur interrogation taking place. She smiled, trying to keep a straight face. Wait, this Oni was absolutely doing the Bad Guy routine, which meant that the best thing she could do as a counselor was...

"Hey, uhm... look, you know, he's had a hard day," Xitlaly spoke softly, placing her hand on the Oni's reddened skin. "Why don't we just let him relax a bit." She smiled at the man who immediately glanced at her with the expectation of reprieve. "So, why don't you tell me what's going on?"

"Uh, yeah, sure, uhm... Yeah, the stuff, well, yeah, it's for Monster Girls, but it's not... well, I mean, it's supposed to really make any girl go wild for you. You know..." The man winced again. "This foot's really killing me."

Ketsueki said nothing, merely leaning over the man menacingly. She tapped her Kanbo right next to his foot, and the sound of metal on stone resounded through the square.

"Ok, Ok!" He blurted, "Left... left pocket. It's the special. Orange Hyacinth Pollen. Insects go nuts for the stuff, but some of you other crazy bi..." He checked his speech at the sound of another tap of metal. "Women use it. Just an aphrodisiac, that's all."

"I'm tired of smelling Hay, Pal..." Ketsueki snarled. "Aphrodisiacs don't cause mystic tattoos on people that take them." She placed her Kanbo between her knees and spit on her hand. She rubbed her palms together, and regripped the Kanbo, before beginning an ancient chant. "It's the bottom of the ninth... bases are loaded..."

"What... what's she doing?" The man whipped his head towards Xitlaly. "Look, I... totally, don't know anything, I just sell the stuff..."

"Only the gods know, it is out of our hands unless you talk." Sans answered for him.

"Score is Nine to Six... Count is Three and Two..." Ketsueki continued, tapping at her left and right foot with the Kanbo Gently.

"Look, you have to... You can talk to my boss! He's in Hia Muy! We get the stuff FROM Hia Muy!"

"Oooh... looks that might be a rain delay..." Ketsueki looked up towards the sky. "Damn... well, while we wait for this commercial announcement, I'm gonna check on my team."

Ketsueki walked towards one of the black cloaked figures that quickly scurried up. There was a moment of dickering, then he scurried away just as rapidly as he had come, accompanied by several other figures.

"We can't just leave him here like this," Xitlaly objected, looking over the man. "He did just give up his people."

"Perhaps the others in this town may treat him with hospitality?" Sans asked.

"Oh we can and we will. He didn't even give us a sample of what we're looking for." Ketsueki replied. "I'm sure by now his people will know about him being captured because he's already sent the distress signal, whatever it is." She looked at the man on the ground. He merely looked confused. "You're KIDDING me. Your boss didn't even give you a rendezvous, either, I'll bet. What kind of cut rate operation are you running here, you fucking idiot? I mean, anybody would KNOW that in Hia Muy unless..." She paused. "Girls, we have to talk." She glanced back and forth between the other two girls present.
