Bigger Problems Ahead

Ketsueki growled, feeling the cool metal of the Kanbo slide down her palm before adjusting her grip. The witch kept a serious look, their eyes locked and she noticed the intent in her eyes. Those weren't killer eyes, but she didn't seem too hesitant to wound her either.

"Already hot stuff, you want to dance?" She smirked, placing one hand on the ground and spreading her legs apart striking a pose. "Let's dance!"

CRACK!

CRACK!

With impressive speed, the Oni leaped off to her right, rolling on the ground before recovering her footing to see a burnt mark from where she last was. Her feet propelled her forward, closing the gap between her and her assailant whilst evading another blast.

Xitlaly began to step back, cursing at this girls quick reflexes. This damn Oni is pretty good, if I let her reach me again I may be in trouble. I just need to land one good hit. Adjusting her form of attack, she pointed her hands out to the fallen shards of glass on the front porch of the shop. Slowly they began to levitate into the air before the Doll threw them to her direction.

"Shit!"

With wide eyes and in mid leap, Ketsueki had no real way of dodging this much. Gunna have to get my hands dirty, she thought to herself before moving her Kanbo to guard her face. Within the next second she felt hundreds of tiny stings as multiple fragments grazed and cut through her, leaving plenty of scratch marks around her red figure. She glared at this witch feeling a trickle of blood ooze down her cheek, why did the hot ones tend to be the psychos?

Within the shop looking out, both of Ketsueki's men kept a firm hand on each of the shop owners shoulders. Just then, the back door was torn off its hinges revealing an angry woman behind it. "Nani?" One of the thugs gasped before a large vine wrapped around his wrist, forcing him to drop his weapon before pulling him out from the store. "Eh!" The other one stood back before swinging his sword, slicing the vine in two.

A moment later he felt a green hand grip his shirt firmly before being met with a pissed off Dryad.

"Big mistake!"

BAM!

Ketsueki and Xitlaly paused in their fight as one of the Oni's thugs crashed through the wall and crumbled over at his boss's feet. Within seconds, the rest of the shop began to cave in, its lack of walls taking its tone as the law of gravity prevailed. Luckily the stranger had managed to crawl out before the wreckage fell upon him. Unfortunately, the Oni took notice.

"And where do you think you're going?" Ketsueki asked, with him sitting up before kicking dust, scurrying off and running towards the growing crowd around them.

Xitlaly shot another blast at her position, striking the Oni on her ribs whilst she was briefly distracted. Toppling on the floor, scraping her left side, she screamed in annoyance and frustration before darting her eyes to the witch doll. "Not so fast!"

Raising her Kanbo up high, Xitlaly readied herself for an incoming throw. It came, but not at her as she soon realized. The Kanbo was directed at the shop owner, spinning around like a boomerang before clubbing into his ankle hard. With a heavy thud, the man howled in pain reaching for his foot.

Ketsueki grinned before lifting a middle finger to Xitlaly, a trickle of blood slipping from her lower lip. Suddenly a swarm of vines sprung from the dirt underneath and wrapped themselves tightly around the both girl's legs and waist, moving their attention towards the rubble of what remained of the flower shop. Piles of wooden planks were tossed aside as Sans sprung up above, having been wrapped around a bubble of thick vines herself as a shield. They released her from its cage before retreating into the floor once more.

"Which of you is responsible for this blight upon us?" She demanded.

Xitlaly frowned and waved her hand at Ketsueki. "What Blight? I'm here because she's been causing this sort of sickness on her own kind!"

"My own k-what are you talking about psycho? I'm just fighting back, you came at my men first or did you forget sweetheart?" Both women stared hard at each other before Sans stepped in between weilding a more calm demeanor.

"Someone has been spreading a blight among the forest and the creatures within. Whatever it is, I tracked it here."

Xitlaly scoffed. "Well whatever it is, something has been making my clients go crazy, ravenous and mad like a wild animal. And I tracked it here as well."

Both of them paused to look at Ketsueki who shrugged in return, wiping a bit of blood off her lip. "I just saw a hotty attacking my men. Oh and I guess someone's been placing magical bonds on my people. Made a Banshee talk, she mentioned he's her connection." Now all three stared at the man in pain, with several peasants checking on him. One woman was tending to his wounded left ankle when three shadows clouded them.

"Move, now!" Ketsueki demanded.

They all did so, leaving the shop keeper alone and facing up to a Witch Doll, an Oni, and a Dryad, each with plenty of questions and requesting his... cooperation.

"Now then, we seem to have found ourselves in a conflict formed via miscommunication." Sans began.

"But I bet whatever we have to ask, he has all the answers." Xitlaly added.

"So I'll only ask once," Ketsueki leaned down staring directly into this trembling man's eyes. "TALK!"
