What is going on back at the ship?
They have been waiting for you
The journey back to the ship was far more uneventful then your journey from the shuttle. As you hit the button to open the airlock to the shuttle, you feel a sense of comfort at going back into a world that you know entirely.
You and Haruka, then stand in the sealed airlock looking at each other, going out together had really created a bond between you two. You want to say something to her, but you don't know what to say. As you ponder this, the door from the inside of the ship opens up. Inside the doorway is your sister, she is still wearing nothing but a bra and panties, as she sees you, she looks like a child again with her stupid grin on her face.
"You're back!" your sister comes and hugs you tightly.
She had last hugged you this tightly after you had come back from your four-year stint on an asteroid; she must have been worried. You can see a large bandage atop her forehead; her hair dampened from the moisture from your chest.
"You have been gone so long I was worried," your sister says.
"Don't worry sis, we were fine?" you say but do not have the heart to look at Haruka as you say that.
"We have discovered something, get Yasmin, and we'll discuss it together" you order, trying to get out of this heat.
She runs off into the ship with Haruka taking the first step back into the craft, and you make your first tentative steps forward soon afterward.
You find yourself sitting back in the captains' chair as you four gather in the seats around, you and Haruka are the only one's wearing much clothing, still wearing the suits you wore in your exploration of the outside; you both have had time to cool down, leading you to put the suit completely back on.
"Me and Haruka seems to have found a potential human settlement" you state.
"Really?" your sister asks.
"That's great news" Yasmin says
Haruka does not talk or look at anyone, merely looking at the ground.
"It is on the other side of a huge river, so we are going to take the inflatable boat to get over there" you continue.
"First however it has been six hours we should get some rest, Haruka can you analyze the samples we took?" you ask.
She looks up, and you see her blushing. "Uhh, yeah, yes," she stammers out.
You look over towards Yasmin, "Can you two could get everything ready to bring with us if we move over there?"
"Yes, no problem" Yasmin says.
"Great," you reply.
"And can you see what signal you can get, the earth was supposed to send a transmission for when we got here," you ask your sister.
"Yeah sure big bro, I can do that," she replies.
Each of them heads off to do what you asked, your sister is working on a console near where you are sitting, Haruka heads of into the airlock, and Yasmin goes off towards the small cargo bay.
You go back to your bunk, it's small, but the ship was not meant for long term survival. While there you plan the mission out, going the first time and eventually bring supplies over, you do this for some time and even create a virtual map of the area for everyone's use. Afterward, you figure you should go check on the progress of the others.
