Chapter 11 by hambo hambo

What does Patty find?

Only misfortune

Patty stomps away in a huff as she leaves Tina alone.

"Ugh! At least this girl should sell for a lot," mumbles the prissy pirate as she looks for a bath tub.

The building is decrepit and dirty now, but judging by how shoddy the whole place looks, it probably never looked good to begin with. There are loose and exposed nails sticking out of the walls in random places. The wood is rotted everywhere, and everything about the place has a clumsily assembled and poorly built vibe to it.

"I'll be so glad when this mess is ov-EEK!" Patty squeaks as she trips on a loose board and goes tumbling to the ground.

"Are you alright?" Tina asks from the other room. "Everything ok?"

"I'm fine!" Patty barks as she angrily sits up. She brushes a few strands of her mousy, dirty blonde hair out of her eyes, realizing her turban must have come off.

The pirate stands up and dusts herself off, unaware that her flowing, exotic robe has now snagged a nail.

"Probably rolled under a chair or something," grumbles Patty. "Ug! It's so dark in here. I need to open these shudders."

The woman takes three steps before an ear-shattering *SSSHHHHHRRRRRRIIIIIIPPPPPP!!!* fills the otherwise empty and silent house.

"Oh no," Patty whimpers. Her eyes are closed, tightly shut. She can feel her face getting warmer and other parts of her body getting colder. "M-maybe it isn't s-so bad..."

The pirate slowly opens one eye, nervously looks down, and screams.

How bad is it?
