Chapter 6 by Acorn142 Acorn142

What job do you apply for?

Nurse’s assistant

You see a position is available at the Health Center to assist the school nurse. Thus far, your only interest in the medical field has been making sure you keep your pecker wrapped to avoid unwanted pregnancies and scary diseases. Since your little foray into rewriting Sarah’s prescription, however, you have begun to recognize the untapped potential of medical sciences.

You make your way to the Health Center to apply for the position and find absolute chaos.

It is a zoo, as is typically the case on the first day of the school year. Students are rushing in and out with forms, medicines, and questions.

You spot Nurse Mileu right away. A very attractive woman in her early 40's, she is at the center of the storm, receiving and distributing forms, collecting medicines, answering questions, and trying her best to maintain order. She's doing a great job, but she definitely could use some help.

"I'll get to that just as quickly as I can, Terrance," she says to a sophomore who has asked her three times for a copy of his vaccination record. “I haven’t hired a student assistant yet, so I'm just a little bit busy at the moment!"

Seizing the opportunity, you get her attention and say, “Im here to apply for that position!”

Nurse Mileu looks like she could kiss you, and truthfully, you wouldn’t mind. She is a very attractive woman.

“I’ll interview you later,” she says, “but just consider this a test of your skills.” She hands you a thick stack of papers and says, “Take these forms into the next room and begin alphabetizing them. Don't get into the file cabinets, and don't read the details on the forms; just arrange them according to name."

"Not a problem," you say, as you retrieve the thick stack of papers and take them into the windowless file room. As you sit down at the desk and begin sorting through the papers, you look around and see several file cabinets, presumably with the student records. You also see several large cabinets that appear to be stocked with various medications -- those belonging to students, as well as medication to be administered throughout the year for various medical maladies. On the desk is a computer, already logged on to the medical records database. You also see several medical reference books on the shelves.

What do you do?
