Note to Authors

Hey gang!

This chapter is blatantly plagiarized from wilparu’s Valentine’s Day Collection (and then viciously edited to fit the context).

We’re really interested in encouraging new authors to try to write a short story here, and naturally we’d also dearly love any experienced writers on CHYOA to contribute if they wish. With that in mind, we have a few simple requests:

As mentioned, the stories should involve mythological deities to some degree since this is the primary category for the collection.

If possible, interested authors should have two chapters complete before they submit them. We aren’t asking for thousands of words, but if the story is just a hundred words of introduction then I may ask for details before we publish the chapter. It’s not our goal to in any way limit new authors, but we also want to keep orphaned branches to a minimum for our readers.

Please submit a short description of your story, you can just Message me directly so I can add it to the introduction page. Having a good blurb, even a sentence or two, greatly helps readers find the sorts of stories they are interested in and ensures that the branches lower down on the list get exposure.

When you add your first chapter, please put your name in parentheses at the end of your title to help readers find the stories they want. It also helps the writer get their name recognized. :) Example:

Title (YourNameHere)
